I swear to got every school has an systematic indoctrination system in place to disillusion young minds in preparation for the real world. I was at uni about an hour ago and had my psyche class. I understand it’s pretty much pointless but learning something new can’t hurt can it? The entire duration of the class felt like I was situated in the middle of the Viet Kong strapped to the back of an electric chair being force fed a chalice of lies and utter delusion sprinkled with a dash of hypocrisy. It revolved around the whole “men bad women good” narrative and of course the women in the class do what they do best as always: play the victim. Talking about society expects so much out of them and how they receive no accommodations in return and how they’re always the victims of rape and violence completely ignoring the statistics which actually indicate men are in a large percentage, victims of these sorts of crimes as well. I swear to god I was so close to shouting something like “you guys are literally unable to decipher between objective reality and self-induced paranoia. That is why you take everything for granted and base everything around your own biases” but of course I didn’t, I played my role as a man and “manned up” and took the whole shtick because otherwise I would be branded as a self-assured misogynistic pig. It’s all so fucking tiresome. Honor, dignity, accountability, and responsibility are four concepts that run entirely parallel to the way a woman thinks.
