In the 2012 presidential debate, Romney said Russia was the #1 threat to America. Obama laughed at him over that saying something like "the 80s called and want their foreign policy back". And all of Obama's barking seals in the media laughed along with him. So in 2012 it was a big joke to think Russia was a threat. But then in 2016 Putin became LITERALLY WORSE THAN HITLER!!!!!! according to the same people that laughed at Romney in 2012.
