I'm getting to be about the age where most friends that intended to get married have done so years ago and now I'm catching wind about the complaints, the drama, the divorces...

As a MGHOW, one thing you really learn to appreciate is that in solitude you're really able to do whatever you want to and for a lot of men, doing what we want means productive and fun and building a better future for ourselves without constraints.

One of my best friends had huge potential but he was weak in the sense that he hated being alone. He hated himself, there was nothing I could have done to prevent him from desiring to be loved by a woman. Some guys don't get the prerequisite love from their own mothers and waste themselves trying to find a mother replacement in a woman who knows how to pretend to love.

This guy was the one who opened the door for me to build a promising start in my career. I always felt like he was a few steps ahead of me and I was just following in his footsteps. Then he got married.

A year after marriage his sow of a wife popped out the anchor baby and things started heading downhill. I started catching up to him, and fast. While I built my war chest and professional network, he was stuck in the same job settling for pitiful incremental raises. While I pursued the passions that were in my reach and making plans for personal growth, he had to give up his passions because of his wife.

I out-earn him now with less credentials to my name, and I didn't even have the benefit of a wife to gas me up and tell me I was a alpha beast of a man who could climb any mountain. I had to motivate myself, pull myself up by the bootstraps, learn how to market the shit out of every little advantage I could afford to give myself. I ate rice and beans and drove a beater to have the capital to take small risks just to get a little more leverage, a little more fuck-you money. Every single dollar counts, the only way to get ahead as a man is not to have a woman sabotaging your financial progress, as they tend to do, even if they earn more than you do! But I digress.

Of all my married friends he makes me the saddest because he had so much potential in my eyes but he decided to play it safe and follow the preordained LifeScript established back when women wore bonnets and churned butter. But now, no matter what he does, he won't catch up to me again. Every day of his that's stolen away by his wife or kid is a day the divide between us grows as I have the freedom to focus on and do what's most important to me.

Guys, life is what you make it. Alone you are free, and freedom means the capacity to pursue your potential until you drop dead. Remember OG MGTOWs like Nikola Tesla and Paul Erdos. These guys were productive until their last breath because they didn't have to deal with a woman draining their life away. Don't be satisfied to just fuck your potential away, even if you're lazy you can do something that endures and leaves a legacy. It'll be better than following the script, having a wife so you can raise a kid as a legacy and probably not be remembered after all your sacrifices anyway, but that's just my opinion. Good luck, brothers.
