You're making the assumption that because she is not good looking that she's more appreciative of your attention. In my own experience, and from reading plenty of threads here, it's actually the opposite. The worse looking a girl is, the more resentful she is of men.

A good looking girl knows the game, what you want, what she has and yes, while she may very well trade up 2 years into a relationship, at least everyone involved knows their worth. An uglier girl will claim that she opts out of those games, that she's not shallow and values personality and loyalty. 2 years later it'll be an expectation that you provide everything to her while she sits around degrading both physically and your esteem.
