I don't think it goes against any basic instinct, but it does go against societal and culture creating a horrible system like now where no one is happy.

As far as "family values" that's a made up thing no one can define.

Avoiding discomfort is priority 1 in nature, since discomfort usually means death. Therefore, given x amount of negative encounters with women to recognise their patterns and behaviours, we now avoid them since they are the cause of discomfort. How is that going against basic instincts?

No. This isn't about traditional gender roles, it's about society having changed in such a way that women hold absolute power with very little check and balances.

We do oppose feminism because it's not about equality in the slightest (it never has been). It doesn't help that feminism has ushered in "non-binary" gender identities like it's a real thing.

Most people here I think are actually in favor of an actual equality, but that isn't happening and the initiatives being pushed just make it even worse.

Think of it this way : when something undergoes a drastic change, usually nearby things are influenced by said change, right? Feminism pretty much gutted society and demonized men. It would be stupid for traditional values to continue after something like that has happened. The reaction that came from demonizing men and taking away their power and dignity? MGTOW

MGTOW doesn't have an end goal. It's rational risk avoidance. The only real goal is freedom and an individual man sustaining himself to his own ends.

You're reading too much into it. Some of us think feminism is great at letting women destroy themselves. We are not tradcucks.
