A long time ago I used to work retail on the closing shift. I learned very quickly that if a guy wants in right at close, he'll be considerate and be in and out very quickly, so I will let him shop. If a woman comes in, she will not only take forever, she will expect somebody to wait on her, helping her carry shit. I stopped letting the women in at close, but continued to let the men in.

I got a Ram 3500 diesel this year as my first diesel, and I must say I really, really like the engine. It's a blast to drive. Not unless you are going out into the wilderness, which I encourage everybody to do. In the last few years I've had standoffs with wolves and a bear. There's some really good deals on used cars if you keep an eye out. Make sure to have any vehicle you are looking at inspected by a mechanic you trust (or get from a recommendation of a person you trust). I have several vehicles, but honestly, this year I got a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 mega cab turbo diesel. It gets almost as good mileage as my 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek, but I can pull massive loads with ease when I want to. It's got a shit ton of space. It's amazing off road. This is funny to me. At my last job I had several spreadsheets I had to fill out every month for record keeping of statistics. I wrote a Visual Basic program to make it so all I had to do was look at the paper forms and enter 2 numbers on each sheet and it filled out all the spreadsheets for me. This meant that what I had to do "every night to keep on top of" was reduced to 15 minutes one time a month. Was it laziness? No. It was increasing my productivity as I had other shit to do.
