Throwaway because simp culture means being MGTOW impedes my activity in other subs

My buddy recently (3-4 months ago) moved in with his GF of 2 years. It's his first serious gf and he's undoubtedly got plans to propose. As you'd expect, he's changed a lot (the way he dresses, the activities he does, the places he likes to eat, nagging recommendations to do stuff that our friend group doesn't like doing).

He doesn't have an education but has finessed and worked his ass off to get himself at a great corporate job with plenty of upside. She has post-grad education, a well paying job and is the breadwinner. He moved into the place she owns.

She recently posted a pic of them together on Social Media and "jokingly" called him, "the guy that pays her mortgage" or something like that. That reeeeally struck a nerve with me! I also think back to that quote every time he calls the apartment "their place".

He's recently been buying large things for himself for the apartment. I don't see this ending well for him. I have a feeling that even if they were to get engaged it would still end quick and he'd get screwed over.

Question:

Do you think it's worth me making "subtle jabs" at him for this arrangement? I want to nudge him in the right direction, I feel like he's getting set up to be screwed over.

Ex. "Oh nice you got a new desk for the gaming computer you're keeping at her place?" or "Is she okay with you buying that?", etc.

He's grown tired of my tossing around disguised red pills. I don't know if doing shit like this would set him off, but I do feel like I have to try and help.

Also worth noting; years before they met I was a chad for her. I made out with her once while drunk at a friends birthday party. She also heavily pursued me for a short time after but I wasn't interested. I told him this before he went on his second date with her, he was pissed but he got over it.
