Having a hard time determining if you are serious or trolling. You've just described a trope that is so pervasive in American culture that it has become a cliche sub plot in movies. Have I been there? No. I was a pretty guarded young man with goals that would have been hindered by such involvment. Turns out that instinct was correct as I don't have any bastards running around, no alimony payments, no vendictive ex; just a stem degree, decent employment and prospects, and serenity. Many men on here certainly know what you are talkimg about personally and hav ebeen there. If Reddit hadn't thought/thot policed them out of existence I would posit that incels would have had an abundance of these stories. Well without the coming back in their 30s part anyway, though I am sure that some thots even tried to get their hooks into some of those incels when the cock carousel finally came to a stop and not even blue pills would touch them. After all, an undesirable nag is better at pulling a plow share than no horse at all. Thots are all too aware of that fact.

The funny thing is, I had a woman that we were friends in HS ask me why I did this exact thing to her.

Basically, it was right before then right after I joined the Army; she would be at the parties I was at, and I saw her, never thought of her as an interest though she was attractive; she also was sort of a limp fish - never talked so conversations got boring real fast; she would sit or stand close to me but never said anything, and when I would engage with her you could sense the tension so I would break contact because it was the opposite.

For years she'd be at these parties, when I came home on leave she'd be there, then get mad and leave when some other girl would come sit on my lap and pretty much throw herself at me.

I told her that it's been 25 years and now you're telling me you were interested way back then, it's way too late for me to make up for a history that I didn't know exist. In any case, back then I didn't want a relationship for any longer than 2 hours anyways.
