Sure, we have to deal with SJWs and feral women. But in the 1800s, the time of actual patriarchy, men were considerably more expendable than today. And that's not to mention no modern conveniences, no modern healthcare, backbreaking labor from morning until night. And yeah, you'd be poor, as even rich folk back then lived a life we would consider "poor" if you weren't actually poor, like the vast majority, and then things sucked even more.

The solution for men is MGTOW in the modern world that we've built.

The way forward is technology, not regression. We can literally build a better woman. A few rich dudes will have a harem of bio-women, but I will be thoroughly pleased with a reasonably close substitute that's programmed to fake all the things my psyche apparently craves.

There is the problem that the London fog wasn’t romantic, it was pollution from coal smoke.

I've often wondered what it would be like to live in a different era. I'm sure that most people have. For me, I've always wondered about the 1920s and the 1950s. Would I actually want to go back and live my life in those times? I don't know... Probably not.

It's easy to idealize and romanticize different time periods, but I'm sure that every era came with its own unique set of problems. There's simply no guarantee that you'd be any happier living in the past than you would be living in the here & now. Besides, it's kind of pointless to speculate about it anyhow. The past is inaccessible and will forever be out of our reach. We can only live in the present. Yes, it can seem like a prison at times, but it's all we have. Make the best of it, so that in your future you will have your place in the sun.

I think you're train of thought is from romanticism: life is better in another place and another time. IIRC this line in art/ literature is actually coming from the 19th century. IMO life is never and nowhere perfect. All times and places have issues. I think nowadays our problems are feminism and overpopulation. But in all other times in history there were issues.

I like to live in this day and age. With the conclusion women are not needed in my life I don't see much issues for myself.

I sometimes kinda wish we did have some sort of apocolypse and life became like a mad max movie. I guess i just feel as if living in that kinda world sounds more exciting and adventurous than working 9-5 for the rest of my days. I understand it'd be horrible, i'd be dead in days, but who knows those few days in the mad max apocolypse before you die could make you feel more alive than 80 years on this planet workin as a desk jockey.

Nah I would prefer the future like a Star Trek universe or something lol. Going to other planets and exploring space.
