The backlash has been mounting in power now as men (especially white men) are tired of supporting these children. There is an epidemic of no fucks given when these babies are falling out of them by the sperm donors and they are looking to daddy gubmint to pick up the slack. From men voicing their disgust at the polls to men dropping out the ability to continue funding this shit is coming to a close.
