Back to a some basic MGTOW questions. More intended to start a discussion about us, versus AWALT posts (while entertaining and cathartic, isn’t focused on bettering ourselves). I’m really interested to read responses to this.
1) Once you became aware of MGTOW, red pilled, level 0, etc... what was the first step/action you took to change your daily life to make yourself better when embracing the MGTOW philosophy? How did you feel after making the change? Any regrets, any massive success stories?
2) How far do you plan to go? Full monk, economic disconnection, no long term or short term relationships? A mix? The “levels” of MGTOW aren’t really a linear progression, but some of the possible multidimensional aspects of living as MGTOW. Plus, we do what we want. Interesting to see what some others are thinking.
I’m still in an early phase of incorporating the philosophy, have clear situational awareness, moving toward economic separation (lowering tax burden to start), and no desire for relationships (admittedly my divorce is relatively recent, so short term relationships may be a possibility, but I will never marry again, and I don’t believe in unicorns). For me, it’s more about decoupling from the systematic disadvantages to being a man (regardless of race, religion, etc), and cultural attitudes that we are disposable, yet expected to perform/deliver.
Interested to read the perspectives.
