I knew a girl who believed the year she was born increased by 1 every year. Her birthday stayed the same (eg July 25th) but because she was 1 year older each year it meant the year of her birth increased by 1 also (eg 1976, next year 1977, next year 1978).

Mind you this was in high school, where girls reach their emotional and intellectual peak.
