The problem is that once you do then you're always getting that call to perform free labor and not just by "broke arm" you'll quickly become everyone's favorite go-to whenever they need something. Best to set your boundries early.

Add the caveat that you don't owe anyone explanations for your actions. You don't have to be right about your choices, so long as they don't directly harm others, you get to just live.

Stress is the accumulation of what we choose to carry in our minds. Let that shit go. The best times of my life were when I quit my job and sold everything I had. I spent 2 years in an RV (best two of my life). Saved a ton. Your life is simple Lived on my motorcycle. Hard. Worth it. Cheap. Lived in my camper shell with my dog. This was just fun. I had money saved. All situations are temporary. One day at a time friend.

Good call. Don't over think it. Focus on one day at a time. No 0 days. Make progress towards your goals every day. Pace yourself at the gym, hire a trainer for a bit if you don't have a good idea of what you're doing. Save money. Read, read, read. Dogs are great buddies who will LOVE you every day no matter how you look or what you do. Focus on hobbies, get a workout partner if you can, but don't rely on that. You'll be just fine.

This is annoying to me as well. That somehow the pinnacle of life is celebrating a bastardized pagan holiday by drinking with someone you felt you needed a contract with the government to couple up with and somehow we complete the picture with the financial burden of property and children. Now, I'm fine with people wanting kids and finding purpose being parents. I'm fine with owning a home and coupling up as a general concept (although I agree that the enforcement of the contract isn't in favor …

So, this was me for the last 7 years or so. Any friendship or professional relationship I had would only serve to reinforce everything I read here. That girls and the dudes that chase them are essentially children. To the point where I believed that quality humans were a fiction (with a few exceptions in the ADVrider community, this sub and a precious few people in my life). I have been completely committed to enjoying my life with my dog and not worrying about any if this anymore. Then somethin…

This sucks. I'm sorry dude. Keep making those perception checks, because I doubt this is over. Although, a clever deception may be to leak that you met someone new. So they'll let it drop. I don't normally advocate lying, but it might get them to stop.

I get the concept of spending your money on your own enjoyment. But consider this: a man who saves has a wider breadth of possible enjoyment. More options and opportunities, earlier retirement. Someone who does it enough, may be living off the interest of his investments. It's a matter of values. Someone if us enjoy that big number in our accounts. It is a nice, comforting pillow from which we dream big. Personally I don't like having "stuff." I feel like it is an anchor I am carrying. I do enjo…

Attraction and opportunity. She either stayed with a dude she wanted to sleep with (social standing/tingles) or hooked up with a dude for resources and tried to monkey branch. The thing you should be focusing on is why this matters to you. Are you a protector? Heroically swooping in to enable these behaviors? Fixing it because you can? (I have done all of these things, like a sucker). What is the need inside you that seeks understanding and what do you hope to gain with that knowledge? My point …

You obviously know what you can do to be healthier, so I won't go into it. But your RHR is in the normal range and nothing to worry about. That said, keep it up man! Treat yourself good and never stop doing whatever serves your life and goals. Not having stress, but staying motivated are big things. That's not outside the normal range. A little on the high end for someone active though. Would you mind posting your age/weight? Mine IS low. It wasn't always low, but I've been tracking it for years and watched it slowly crawl lower. My average before I got fit was about 60-65 but it would vary quite a bit with stress / circumstances. It was always much higher in relationships, working a job I hated, not exercising, poor diet, bad sleep, drinking... Now? Mid 40's all the time. Which is useful d…

I can relate all too well. My ex would come home with 6 $20-$30 bottles and have them gone in about 2 days. Her friends never brought anything and any alcohol I had was consumed. So, like you I stopped buying it and she got upset. She eventually wanted to go back to school instead of work, took a two year program to be a vet tech. I like animals so I was supportive. It was among the best decisions I ever made. I wish I never sold it. I had a 36ft Jayco, with 3 slides. It was more room than I needed by a lot. I owned a house with some property, rented the house out and lived in the RV. Eventually I moved it around a bunch to the property of friends who would rent me a space (in a few different places). It is a wonderful thing to have a mobile shelter that you can go to but have the rest of your life being outside. Life stopped being about accumulating stuff …

I had the same thing. House at the end of the street, well paying job and a wife and kid (her kid from before). I'd work 10-12 hours and get home to house that was a mess, her drinking with friends every day (alcohol I bought). I hated going home. I'd help her daughter with homework, feed her, read with her, taught her how to swim and ride a bike. I hella enjoyed raising her. But I couldn't stand my marriage. This has happened to me twice in my life. It fucked me up too... but the kicker is it changed me too, made me better. Hey there friend. Fighting social cues and biology is a difficult thing sometimes. The challenge of it is what makes it worthy of your effort. I'm 41, have been successfully single at many points in my life peppered in with relationships (even a marriage), some one night stands and a bunch of short term relationships. Most MGTOW tend towards the ideals of Libertarianism eventually. The concepts being similar. "I want to live my life as I choose without someone telling me what I can and can't do." It's not a conservative or a liberal stance (I think we'd mostly all agree that both sides of the national theater have good ideas. Conservatives with economic freedom to do business as you please, Liberals with social freedom to live to the extent of your moral values). But by and large we reject becoming economical…

The thing about your grief is you're experiencing a chemical withdrawal. When you meet someone fun, your brain releases dopamine to attract you to them. As time goes on, you start building a resistance to the stimulus (the girl) and need more of her for the same high. Eventually, there is no more high, but there is still dopamine released. You just don't feel excited. So when you break up, you are no longer getting the chemical fix. So even though she gives you no pleasure you still have withdra…

Your feelings are normal. Many men have walked this road before you. It's ok to be upset and feel what you're feeling. Here's the thing though, none of it matters. Not her. Not what she did. Why isn't going one's own way and being in a relationship with women compatible? It depends on what you mean here. Mostly you're seeing vocal minority posts from new MGTOWs that are salty. The woman bashing thing is widely seen as immature, even here. Although the subtext of modern women being shallow is reinforcement for avoiding marriage and co-habitation. Well, I appreciate the insight. I don't really get the appeal of the tinder culture, but long before mgtow I never felt like I needed others in my life to make it better (in fact, any time I teamed up it was worse). So I don't think I'm the intended user. I'm sure both sexes have among them those of impure intent. But I really get the vibe that this ad is advocating sexual relationships for money (or gifts, or travel).

Real talk, what is tinder for? I guess I really don't know. Literally everything I've heard is that it is a hookup app and occassionally people find romance or trick dudes into free meals. Is that advocating more of the free meal aspect, but on a larger scale?

You're right, of course. I don't have bad feelings about it, it's just something that happened a long time ago that I almost never think of. In the divorce she didn't ask for anything and we didn't have kids or property, so we filed a single page "summary dissolution" and that was the end of it. $60 filing fee. So at least that part was easy.

Eh, I can do my own thing and comment on reddit. If someone else tries to define what it means to "go my own way" I ignore what they say, because it's wrong and stupid and I just don't care what their feelings are about my choices.

I was married for 3 years (a long time ago). I had a business and made good money with it. The first year of the marriage we travelled a lot, drank a lot, managed to go into debt a bit despite having a good income. She would have a lot of friends over and drink with them while I worked. The next two years she wanted to go back to school. So I paid for her school, gave her a car, paid for the gas (but it was ok, she promised to carpool... which really meant she'd pick everyone up and drive them a…

I once responded to a post about tenant/landlord law and had a guy dig almost a year back through my history (from this sub) and then post what I was replying to as if I has said it in an attempt to discredit me. I was really confused at first, then when I found the post, I was all too happy to point out what a stretch it was. Some people are really petty and just have to argue. These people often have nothing of value to say.

Real discussion. Most women (especially young women) will value a man based on resources but also potential resources. They essentially hedge a bet on you being successful and will act accordingly. If you show strong ambition or talent this can replace resources for a short time in terms of attraction. It's important to not talk about what you're doing, rather just do it (unless you're fund raising a kickstarter or something) and own your successes quietly. Lest you attract parasites (of any gen…

Holy shit. Something just hit me. My last girlfriend (10 years ago) had 2 kids and had left her husband to do, whatever. In any event we ended up in a 3 year relationship (in fairness, it actually was a good relationship, a lot of fun, attention, almost no drama until the end) but shortly after she and I got together her ex husband sent us a Christmas gift. There was a point in my past when I felt similarly. I managed to talk myself through it with the idea that every day brings new information. For years I quietly suffered and teetered on the premise that daily I learned and grew and gathered information. Self acceptance is one of the pillars of a healthy self esteem. To lack it is risk placing other's opinions over your own values, making you a puppet. The plasticized among them wear their cowardice and fear, quite literally upon their faces.

Can we talk about this hypothetically? As long as there is no deception and everyone involved is consenting to this, why is this arrangement any more reprehensible than any two person relationship? It has the same merit as job sharing, no one has to deal with it full time. If you remove any negative feelings of jealousy, it sounds like 3 friends having a relationship together. Comic reading nerd time incoming... Soooo in the comic Thanos' motivations were a little more clear. He loved the physical embodiment of death. She had a thing for him too. So she gave him a celestial level shit test and tasked him with killing half the population of the universe. So he tried. Eventually figuring out that the soul stones (infinity stone) were capable of this task, he collected them and assembled the gauntlet. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez. James Cameron wrote the screenplay (and has been working on it for 20 years). Pretty sure he was working on Avatar 2, which is why RR directed it. Stuff isn't worth as much as freedom. Eventually "stuff" becomes a prison. We spend fortunes to build walls and worry over locked doors to protect our stuff. Needless to say, the comments overwhelmingly condemn this. The headline evokes the intended emotional reaction. It does make sense though if their stance is that a fetus isn't a child. Assault (and I'm sure battery) charges cover the attack, but as far as the fetus is concerned, to the NY state legislature it is no different than aborting it through medical means. Of course, the logic of the law isn't my issue with it and my beliefs on fetus life aside, what the fuck Fox News?

What's sad about this is that they equate sexual attention with self esteem. Self esteem comes from within and is a measure of your regard for yourself. Feeling good about yourself when someone else expresses interest in you is a mark of low self esteem, since you're putting the opinions of strangers higher than your opinion of yourself.

A real answer from me might be something like, "add as much to my life as I add to yours." Things like sex and companionship are things we both get. So a woman with healthy investments, property, good self worth, a career etc are promising to someone wanting a relationship. Imagine a teammate who doubled your home affordability, doubled your vacations, or better yet, made it necessary to only need to work half as much. The theory of that could be somewhat appealing, if it were not a fantasy.

Glad to hear that things are still going well! This is a great time of year for adventure living. A lot of places are beautiful in the Autumn. At some point, if the car gets too confined, consider a small RV (and tow your car). You can easily live forever on the road going to work-camp sites and finding jobs all around. Free RV space and hook ups in exchange for a little work. Alternately, if you haven't figured it out yet, any sort of chain gym (24 hour, anytime, snap etc) will let you use all …

It's a shame for the people it actually happens to. It must be tough to go through something so traumatic, and have so many others lie about the same thing happening that no one believes you.

Towards the end it was only honesty and self esteem. When those two simple traits were absent from every woman I met, I decided I was done.

Reading the study instead of the article I'm not convinced. 15% of the participants had levels decrease at some time, which the study concludes was because a testicular defect. Article title smells like clickbait. The study: RESULTS: 57% of the men had normal GT, 30% had impaired GT and 13% had newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Glucose ingestion was associated with a 25% decrease in mean T levels (delta = -4·2 ± 0·3 nm, P < 0·0001). T levels remained suppressed at 120 min compared with baseline (…

You could spend a lifetime looking at pictures of different girls hanging out with guys and for every one there would be a few men hurt by it. It's an old tale. Never ask what you should do. Take control of your life. Decide what is best for you and start taking steps to achieve it. But if you do it to impress a girl get ready for disappointment. This pain is a temporary feeling all men go through. It breaks some, don't let that be you. let it forge you into a better self.

I used to own a engineering company. Very small, doing mostly in house projects for our construction and development companies. So we hired this chubby girl who, apparently had all the qualifications (my engineer hired her). Anyway, 2 weeks in she reveals that she's 7 months pregnant and eventually leaves foher maternity leave, expecting pay etc. About a week later we closed that company and just brought the engineer into a different company. Screw that.

I like you. That was a fun read. I remember a few years ago, long before I ever heard of MGTOW, my brother and father (both worked with me) would use my home office daily. It was always productive and in a cool old house from the early 1900s. They'd end up staying late to the point where I had to send them home. I like being in control of my body and my mind. I am working towards the optimal version of myself in all ways. Being fit, healthy, learning, building on self esteem, working on hobbies and things you enjoy etc are an end in themselves and don't need to be the means to an end. These are terrible keys to life. Don't get me wrong, if they work for you and you are happy then keep on keeping on... but... Human metabolisms are different from each other and can be trained (either to adapt to 1500 or 10,000 calories). I have not gained weight at 1400 and 2700 because of reverse dieting, but I can tell you I build more muscle, faster and have better energy near 2700, and when doing a cut it's incredibly easy with a healthy metabolism. This brings me to my second thought. Bein…

I go with, "I tried that, but it's not for me. Some people just aren't built for teaming up." I've never had anyone argue the point except once when they said, "maybe you'll meet someone who will change your mind." I believe I replied with a shrug and said, "Maybe. That would interesting." No one really cares about what others are doing with their life, so being vague and dismissive is perfectly fine.

You're at the cusp of a new life, one that belongs to you. If you want wisdom, there is some to be gathered here. The solo life gets better when it comes without anger or frustration. Living in acceptance of what is, is where it's at. It takes time though. There are a lot of social stigmas and constructs that would behoove you to identify and subsequently ignore. The best I've figured is to not take any of it so seriously. Get a dog. Don't share your new found philosophy with others. And spend a…

I've always been a bit of a loner. I recall even as early as elementary school having friends, but not really having a group. As I got older I'd spend a lot of time alone. I've lived alone most of my life (the best years in an RV). Spent months in a cabin with no internet while writing novels and went a little nuts doing it. I like -some- interaction, but don't need a lot. Mostly I just hang out with my dog.

Just in reading over what is admissible in court. If you tell people they're being recorded then you're fine. But recording in secret where there is an expectation of privacy is against the rules. I am not making a moral determination here, just tell you what I read.
/r/MGTOW25/02/18 03:24 PM

I don't think that's correct. You are allowed to record the common areas of your home, but not anywhere where there is an expectation of privacy (like a bathroom or even a bedroom). It still is a 50/50 shot, but the more visible it is (or if it's obvious that things are being recorded that will help).

Ahh I gotcha. You're right. The relationships I'm not wired for are the current incarnations of prison-like hell that men suffer to maintain cultural value and perceived access to sex. Whereas a hypothetical relationship of mutual value, common goals, love, understanding, self improvement etc would be something I'd be very good at.
/r/MGTOW18/02/18 04:21 PM
1

I don't lie either. My reply is true. I gave it a shot with someone I thought was pretty awesome (who I had a crush on for a long time prior to that, despite knowing better). And I wasn't willing to compromise my values to be in the relationship. There isn't going to be a better fit than that, but I'm not worried about it. I've always been happier single than in relationships. It just took me a long time to figure out why.
/r/MGTOW18/02/18 03:45 PM

I understand that. I've never had it go on that far. It's always someone trying to set me up or just curious how things are going. But when I admit that I gave it a try with someone amazing, and even then, reached the conclusion that relationships aren't for me, that ends the conversation.

It's not uncommon. It takes time. Having a dog helps. Your brain producer endorphins when you fall in love. You become chemically addicted to that feeling and even though you build up a resistance to the feeling, the chemical is still there. So when the stimulus is gone you experience withdrawls. Most people replace it with someone new, like addicts, but when you go your own way you have got to get through it. Just keep going forward and, in time, it will be gone.

I think so too. He may be right though. Let's assume he is, and let's assume the girl saw through it and called him out, knowing the truth. Does that make her reaction better or worse? Work on your self esteem. The curse of the cuck is that they get their value from the attention and approval of others, but your intrinsic value (your self worth) is the only thing that matters. When you put people's opinions of you over your own, you're saying that they are more qualified to judge your value than you are. The irony of this is that when you don't value yourself, no one else has any reason to think you're worth anything. So those approval seeking cucks are setting themselves up f…

I agree. I can be convinced by overwhelming evidence, but I am not holding my breath. I've had the experience of relationships. Good times and bad. Fortunately for me, I was always happier when I was single and relationships took a lot of convincing, even at my bluest. You're right that you cannot un-see it. For good or bad, that wisdom comes with a lasting weight.

You know better. Don't let fear make excuses for you. Fear of being alone is a voice in your head that isn't yours. It is the voice of a collective telling you that relationship = value, success, happiness. But it's a fiction. It's a substitute for self worth.

The wisest man to ever live wasn't born red pilled. He got there the hard way. My favorite story is when he was young God told him he wanted to give him a gift, so he thought on it (knowing he'd one day be a king) and said he wanted the ability to discern between right and wrong, so as he judged, he could do so justly. I'm glad you find value in that. Stick with it. It gets real obvious how many people get their value from sexual attention, rather from an internal sense of worth (hence self esteem). A lot of the other stuff is valuable (no co-habitation, no marriage, no dating, not helping etc) and will be useful in protecting yourself, but the "why" is to break the hold of expectations on you, to capture the innate value your life has and to release any underserved guilt of putting your own self before the wa…

I jumped from place to place. At the time I had a lot of friends who didn't mind since I created the pad, and put in the hookups. I paid 300-400 in rent that included the utilities and internet. I had to borrow a truck to tow it. It was too much RV. 36 ft with 3 slide outs. If I did it again I'd go smaller, 20-26ft.
/r/MGTOW25/01/18 09:47 PM

So where it's pictured was a piece of property I owned at the time. It had a small house I rented out and I created an rv pad with full hookups. After that time, I created an rv pad at a few different friend's houses and bounced around them. Workkamping is also an option. Where you mow the lawn of an RV park for free hookups. If you check craigslist you can find RV pads for rent. In my area 300-400 is pretty typical (with water, sewer/septic hook up, power and internet).

I place most of my self-worth in how women see me. You're replacing your self-worth with the attention of women. It's indicative of low self esteem. Every time I've been asked to interview for a company, I've recorded that time (drive, prep and interview) as billable hours if I didn't get the job. Send them a bill, and send it to collections if they don't pay it. They asked for your time, you should be compensated for that.

That actually sounds like a decent sci-fi writing prompt. Exploring how we would interact with each other, how we would travel, how we would treat animals, the sociological effects, etc. Would the be a psychological want to continue the species, protect accumulated knowledge etc.

I'm checked out of this conversation man. It's a bit more effort than I have the will to give with really no potential for reward. You keep assigning premises to me of values I don't have and then arguing with them. So, in order to defend my point, I need to go back and correct all the premises, which you'll ignore (if history is any indicator)... and that's all a lot of work. So I'll part with, I disagree with some of what you said.

For anyone who doesn't want ad cancer: A male senior executive at a multi-national engineering firm in Singapore was falsely accused of sexual harassment by a female employee. The executive allegedly responded by pressuring her to quit and later sued her for damages related to the incident. The executive won the civil suit, therefore the woman was liable for compensation and the man’s court fees. When the woman refused to pay the fees, she was held in contempt of court for failing to comply with…

Why though? Because I want humans to keep being a thing. It's pretty simple. What makes it necessary for a thing called humanity to exist? Necessary? Nothing. But I want it to keep existing on some level. It's not a stretch to feel some low level loyalty to others like me. That feeling you have, that imperative, it's just bullshit like your desire to provide for a woman. Uh oh, there you go projecting on me, assigning me your own values (or antagonistic values) so you can argue with me. Undermin…

Ok man. But it seems like you're making up rules to make MGTOW fit what you want it to be. Your premise is full of errors though. Do you stop at traffic lights? One cannot claim to go his own way and follow government rules. Don't tell me you're a fake MGTOW that goes where roads take him? I'm obviously being facetious. Yes, I have and re-read it often. Broaden your thinking. Anyone who is sociopathic and manipulative will use any resource they have or belief that you may have to get what they want from you (or control you). Religion is not the only tool. This attribute is also not unique to women, although it is common among them.

Track your food for a few weeks. Find out what you're eating and how much of it. Also determine if you're gaining or losing weight eating that amount. I lived in San Diego for about a year and really hated trying to get anywhere (at certain times of day). I'm just doing damage control at this point, trying to slow the financial hemorrhage and make an exit in several months, if I can. No matter what she won't be ready, it will be "all your fault" she will try to get money from you, manipulate you and have another guy very quickly after (and if she senses you pulling away, she will line up the next guy while trying to prolong the meal ticket). I may be jaded beyond repair, but I am reading that you're dating and otherwise Homeless 5150. I get that feeling of wanting to help her (I honestly struggle with that sort of thing myself), but when you become a tool she uses to enable herself with no appreciation or accountability for her own behavior, it's time to take a good hard look at what you're doing with your life. Do you see any future there that isn't an expensive nightmare of manipulation?

Never, ever lie to them. None of this Santa, Easter Bunny garbage. Don't teach them that a fantasy is preferable to reality. Praise effort over intelligence (if you praise intelligence it will reward easy tasks being completed, whereas praising effort will make them seek new challeges and growth/character comes from overcoming adversity). Lead by example. Realize kids want to impress their fathers, so they won't always tell you of their failures. So show them how to deal with failure in your act…

Gotta work on that self esteem man. What other people think is irrelevant and more often than not, a projection (usually of fear). Hypocrisy is irritating. But it's also a great indicator of someone who has absolutely nothing of value to say or add to your life. Keep that chin up.

I feel like the Rock is way less sensitive about my opinion of him than any random female. Likewise, I'd probably be more interested in what the Rock has to say about anything than any random female and may even have a reason to talk to him. This criteria for talking to women seems dumb.

they traded their bodies for fame and fortune This is a very old tale. A very common tale and one that women even celebrate among themselves. "Sleeping her way to the top," is a common trope. It is not and never has been a secret. Outrage is popular and attention whores flock to it like insects to a lightbulb. So much so that suddenly every man in power is now a sexual aggressor and the ones "speaking out" after decades are almost all entirely in it for attention.

I see it. We have been normalized to gynocentrism and only speaking well of (and making excuses for) women. Like a little kid with a crayon that we praise for being an artist. This has become our normal. So when someone says, "no, she sucks at drawing and so to all children" it is a little bit of a system shock. The subtext here is actually a pretty important psychological phenomenon that has cropped up in the last century. We no longer have a rite of passage to adulthood. Well, call a local shelter or kitchen and go in for a couple hours. I did meal prepping (sack lunches, cooking a bacon/poptato casserole, salad, soup, bread, pastries. As well as prepped turkey stock for future soups, and sliced whole turkeys, weighed bags of meat for freezing for their Thanksgiving. Set tables, did dishes, chopped veggies), but in the past have done serving also. They need both. There is probably a group you could go in with. Hopsice care usually does the comfort of the dying s…

There are a couple homeless women in town I've seen, but by and large it is men. No white knights rescuing men, you know?

There used to be a camp in my town (a lot of small studios that had bunks) that got shut down because of some code violation. The homeless population used to live there exclusively. These days they're all over, sleeping on the sides of bike trails, under the overhangs of unoccupied commerical real estate, under bridges... They used to panhandle at intersections, but some aggressive drug addicts took up signs until the city banned that. A lot of non-homeless panhandlers ruined it for them. I actu…

Funny you say that, because I used to manage low income senior housing and the meals on wheels folks would come there. Although a few men received them, a lot of overweight "disabled" women did. My experience syncs with your assertion.

I don't have any strong feelings about it. I have volunteered in soup kitchens before (the first time was during Thanksgiving a year I moved away from my home town and had nothing else to do). I wouldn't say I walk around with any sort of guilt to assuage to feel "better" about. I just had some time in my day and spent it over there doing something good for no other reason than it was good to do.

I appreciate the honest answer from an outside perspective. I literally came here from a thread about r/Incels being banned. That is what you're associated with. To a casual passerby, I guess I can see why there would be an association. But there really isn't. Maybe a few common memes? But where incels are wishing they could get laid (and apparently posting aggressively about it). Mostly MGTOW is about men who have gone through many relationships (or divorces) seen patterns and have had enough o…

Just checked out inceltears - is it just a bunch of Chads, or wannabe-Chads, shaming incels? Presumably. It really seems like a lot of people with low self esteem desperate to find someone with lower self esteem in order to feel like they aren't so bad.

I disagree with your premise. Why should I be understanding of an incel, or a feminist, or a BLM zealot, or a communist sympathizer or a baboon? There are innumerable groups out there that I don't think about at all. They aren't relevant to my life. This is true. The endorphin rush of "love" is chemically designed to override your ability to reason. It is a drug that is addictive. So what you have to do is get over it like a chemical addiction. Cut ALL ties. Delete photos. Delete Facebook. Don't answer questions or talk about her. Throw out the reminders. Don't go places you went together. Get into different music. Work out (exhaust yourself). Do this without fail for 30 days and you'll be fine. If you "kind of" do it, it'll take longer.

I have no problem with seeking understanding in any form. If they want to read about us, so be it. If the result is introspection and using it to grow, good. If the result is spreading the word (whatever the motivation) good! If the result is an eyeroll and ignoring us, good! If they want to pretend to be men to "infiltrate" so what? Being aware of the nature of women, being aware of the laws and how to avoid putting ourselves in positions that compromise our freedom/employment. I was still sad when he died. As a kid I got to travel a lot because of him and have a lot of good memories of family events and conversations I had with him. I dated a fitness model for a couple years. Very beautiful, Argentine girl who was fun, funny and owned her own business. I took her on a vacation to meet my grandparents. My grandpa, being old, kept trying to flirt with her (which made my grandma not like her much) and he kept telling her that she should leave me if I don't marry her saying, "why would he buy the cow if he is getting the milk for free." He died a few years ago and to this day I think of him as a dick for that.

I don't think you're right. Women love attention. They want men to "sexually assault" them with their words and leers. If there is any sign of diminished attention, they will prompt the flirting so they can be upset and get white knights validating them.

Agreed. It was a classy move. Male/female interactions (or truly, any human interactions) are immeasurably better when initiated with a respectful stance. Honestly if all women were this respectful all the time, we'd probably not have a sub.

Not necessarily, but you're attributing a blanket statement to an entire group that has very different ideas about this subject (one, I believe is championed by a vocal minority). It would be like saying, "American guys say that Japan is dirty, so..." or "Blacks say that global warming is a lie." And we could probably find some people who fit, but it's hardly a true statement. So when you start your question with a presumptive statement, it causes me to wonder why you don't just presume the answ…

Well, "1960's kids" (to come up with a new grouping name for us)... How do you relate abortion to collateral damage? Don't think about it too much, she got it out of Elle Magazine's top 10 pick-up lines for taking home a soldier. Unfortunately Elle failed to do any market research before publishing. Also listed was, "hi, so like, how big are you conpared to your friends?" And the classic, "If I told you you had a huge wallet, would you throw your income at me until death do us part?" To be fair, the girl in the story picked one of the better ones.

I felt like I was reading the opening pages of a biography there and it was compelling. I did ask, although I wasn't expecting such a detailed answer. But it puts a lot of perspective on the early roots of your stance on many of the things you write. I was referring to the bluepill, Disney Fantasy, but the lack of early BP programming seems relevant also. I was born in the late 70s and growing up in the 80s and early 90s those Disney relationships were heavily influential. I grew up believing wh…

Some MGTOWs are angry and they get to be angry and say what they want. Most of us are just kind of apathetic to women and sympathetic to the guys who are newly hurt and angry. I don't think anyone here is interested in any kind of PR or adding numbers. Numbers mean infiltrators, brigading, trolls and dealing with filtering through bullshit to get to relatable content. It always seems like it is good for a while. But all men will say their relationship is a 9 or 10 for the first 30 days and 3 months in it's a 7. After they break up and get over the pain they look back and realize it was a 3 the whole time. Oldest profession for a reason. Men want sex, women want money... it's an easy trade. The messy part is when there is a legal contract and children involved in this exchange. Emotions, dependency, vows, families built on it. If we all had our budget on a tshirt and they all had their price, there wouldn't be a MGTOW, or divorce, or suicide over relationships. That all comes from the manipulation of trying to disguise this paradigm.

I really think that deep down even the BP guys can sense something is wrong. When they've been enslaved long enough and get a little taste of freedom, sometimes they'll jump on it. Also a lot of men will stay with a woman because they think it's "right." They don't want to let her down or give in to apathy. So when she says "I'm having doubts" it releases the bond of "I gave my word." Happened to me a while back (i posted the story). I was going to follow through because I said I would. Then she…

I don't have the same rights to care my (potential) children, I don't have the same reproductive rights, I don't have the right to the product of my own labor when it comes to divorc…

50/50 doesn't negate child support. CS is supposed to guarantee the child has a comparable lifestyle at both homes. So if the woman makes no money and the man makes good money, the court will even it out. The problem is that there is no oversight. So you have single moms buying clothes and concert tickets and living in a shitty apartment.

because its supposed to be for food and shelter mainly as well as clothing etc. It's supposed to guarantee that the child has a comparable lifestyle at both homes. But there is no oversight for this.

The whole construct of "love" is built in society to avoid that truth. I'd qualify that as "Romantic love" and then agree. That infatuation chemical high from identifying a potential sexual partner is pretty intense. But it shouldn't be called "love."

Armed citizens prevent or minimize mass shootings. Disarmed citizens get guned down, defenseless. Seems like a gun is an important thing to have for the 50+ people who couldn't protect themselves.

The anti-gun crowd loves mass shootings. They immediately get to push their political agenda. If they can they'll make it about race too. It's really annoying. As if people who defy the law (and murder people) will obey the new law. The citizens are already disarmed and unprotected, more of that won't help.

You know what man? Sometimes it's okay to just do nothing for a while. It won't last forever, you'll get a wild hair sooner or later, but you don't have to force it. Enjoy the hollow times, sometimes it just takes time for all the pieces you aren't aware of to fall into place for your next big thing. If it's peaceful, sit with that a while. It won't last forever.

Protip: trolling on this sub only serves to reinforce our beliefs that BP zealots will fight to preserve their illusion. The more you comment the more desperate you seem to invalidate us as a fringe group of broke nerds and homosexuals, when we are largely a group of successful hetero men who don't want to be treated like a utility, being sacrificed for the sake of others. Yup. In Ecclesiastes, Solomon (the wisest man ever) goes on and on about how bad women are. Even so far as to say, one in one thousand, a good man I have found. But not even in that number, a good woman. Paul in 1st Corinthians wrote a lot about how men should be as him (MGTOW) and only offers that if men are going to live in sexual immorality that they should marry (this is his concession) but then defines marriage as a faithful partnership (which women and cultural marxism have ruined). I have some thoughts. There are a lot of angry brothers out there that have been really fucked over in relationships and I strongly believe that anger is not the future of a healthy MGTOW lifestyle, but peace. Self esteem and really not giving a fuck. If you're mad you're still in it in some way. I get that there is a place for anger but it's no place to live. Having spent 9 or so yesrs of my adult life living with various women and 10 more without, I find that paying the bills, managing the budget and doing the house chores is vastly easier when I am single. Any time they tried to manage any aspect of the relationship (inclduing cooking, eating out, cleaning, social events etc) it became a needless complicated chore of "don't do it well or e…

"The percentage of women wanting to marry up has increased" - how could it increase from 100%? Easy answer, they are pursuing multiple men at a time. They have a rich/celeb crush, a rich ideal man, a moderately successful LTR, his boss, several orbiters who make less than the LTR, LTR's best friend who makes slightly less, and a tinder account just in case. So it's not that more than 100% of women are wanting to marry up, it's that they are seeking more options, to marry up. Once married they se…

And that was the end of the relationship. I should have been MGTOW ever since, but at the time I thought "NAWALT, right?" At least the workers get some benefit from the job. They aren't victims. Most people would trade entrepreneurial potential for a guaranteed paycheck. It's alright though, we need "worker drones." That's why no self respecting man can be a provider. It's the absolute lack of desire and lack of respect you get. These women blow up in your face because they feel safe and think you are a weak man(i.e. not abusive). This is 100% true and exactly where they attack you while you're young or vulnerable. "A real man steps up and supports the family." Or stuff about honor or love. The sorts of things we care about that they use to manipulate us. As for the rest of the story: well fuck.

Consider that you don't need "catch all" friends. Maybe you have a workout buddy, a tennis partner, a movie/gaming friend, a few concert friends, a band, a political group, a mens rights meet up... but they are different people. I learned years ago that no one will agree with me totally and even if they do, they aren't necessarily a good activity partner. So "friend" is a relative term.
