My ex who thought it is stupid to buy bitcoins back in 2012 must be frustrated by now. I have no contact with her, no intentions to be in contact with her, and doesn't really care if she's happy or in a ditch.
Ladies who are friends with me are quite normal. They are either married/in relation and/or have kids so that side is safe, but can't say for certain since you never know what kind of stuff is cooking in their brain cells. No one at my work knows since I am kinda flying under the radar to avoid taxation, and some jealous soul can report me. I am already paying 100% taxes with no mortgage and no deductions.

He bought in when bitcoin was worth less than a dollar per coin. She contacted him right when bitcoin was approaching its all-time peak value of nearly $20,000 per coin (total coincidence I'm sure /s).
Basically the dude could have spent less than 50 bucks on bitcoins in 2011, and assuming he sold them all at their peak value (around mid December 2017), he'd be a millionaire.
