At the outset let me mention that I'm not a MGTOW in the truest sense. But i feel this a male positive space and has some wise men. Help a young man out.

My life apparently is fine. But if i stop pretending and undo the facade i realise that I'm a mess. A piteuous mess of a variety of constituents - Unprocessed emotions, inadequacy, resentment, etc. I'm 22 years old.

At an age most people are evolving I'm regressing. I can sense it. I'm jist not at ease with myself. There's this constant burden on my head which is indescribable. Repeated rejection has eroded my self-esteem.

I had a tendency to wallow in self pity which prevented me from taking action. To break the vicious cycle i relentlessly applied for jobs. Managed to get one but it doesn't pay much. I start in 6 months. My happiness was short lived. I'm again the same old hopeless, downcast guy. I've been single all my life. Not once has anyone shown interest in me. When i did i was spurned. I took rejections gracefully.

But then I started wondering that i was the common denominator. Maybe there's something wrong with me. I then asked a girl who i was interested in what repelled people from me. She asked me to look at the mirror. That was 1 year back.

And I still haven't been able to forget those words. This constant churning of thoughts manifests itself as weight gain. I exercise but my stress levels are quite high. There aren't many days I feel free, unfettered. My mind ails me.
