I mined bitcoin back in 2011, held it then sold it in 2016 for a mighty profit. And just in time, too. The HDD broke about a month later and I hadn't ever backed up the wallet!

I don't have a MGTOW story, but a personal bitcoin fuck up that I want to post.

In 2017 I had a client who owed me about $2500 for service and couldn't pay. He offered me 8 bitcoin which was trading at about $1900 at the time. I declined it and he eventually paid the amount.

The reason I declined was that I didn't understand the technology, process or how to monetize them. I didn't want to take the steps to setup a wallet.

Fucking haunts me to this day. Every once in awhile, whether I am feeling too big for my britches because I won a trial or retained a lucrative client, ill look up the price of BTC just to torture myself.

Fuck me.
