Whether you get a boy or girl you already decided to sacrifice your time/money on your offspring, so you might as well do your best to add a decent woman to the population. This is what I would do.
I thought I heard about designer babies and how the child's sex is one of the options.

Worst scenario, every father who gets a daughter is fucked but that doesn't mean he doesn't have throw her away.

Just be a father that can be there for her as much as possible and raise her with integrity, so she can grow up to become a well educated adult.

After she turns 18, she's on her own.

I don't really understand this. Why would a MGTOW want to have a child? Aren't children part of the plantation? You will have to give up huge chunks or your time, energy, resources and focus to raise a kid. Also: why would you want to bring kids in this horrorclown freakshow called "civilized modern society" at all. Furthermore: the surrogate mother is highly likely to cause trouble: she has carried the kid and pregnancy does things to a mother. I think if you see them as an artificial womb with a smartphone you're vastly shortsighted. And last: call me a BP cuck for all I care IMO a kid needs both a father's and a mother's input. Now I'm not saying raising a kid can't be done alone. I even have 3 single moms in my friend circle who are doing a great job for that matter. So it's not impossible.
