Shame is one of the most powerful weapons in the 21st century, and hardly talked about. People talk about stress, burnout and depression but nobody ever talks about shame. Maybe because it is such a powerful weapon for females.

A while ago I stumbled upon the works of John Bradshaw and read his book 'Healing the Shame That Binds You'. He really has profound insight into the havoc shame can cause.

Shame has sent young men to their deaths (ie the white feather campaign during the war), and is a silent, but powerful force.

As I've grown older, adopting the IDGAF attitude gets easier and easier.

It's odd how the feminist contingents that fight so viciously against the "violence of shaming" are so dependent on shame for forcing their agendas down the popular throat (faucibus populi).

The instant you try to shame me for supposedly shaming someone else is the minute you reveal yourself as a hypocrite. At best, I'm only going to agree to feel about about calling you a fat fuck if you agree to feel bad about being a fat fuck.
