Married men try to shame me even more often than women. I actually just say word for word now "Shaming language does not affect me" and they usually give me a super weird look followed by some awkward silence and then a frown. Yes it kills a conversation but who cares if it's a conversation you didn't really want to be having.

Most recent example, coworker trying to shame me for not being married like him to his fat cow of a stay at home mother wife...they still have their kids in before and after school/daycare even though she's a stay at home mother. He must be so glad he's bankrolling her drinking wine and posting on Facebook job.
