After getting divorced 6 years ago, I became a renter, lost my workshop, never had a place to call home that was mine, etc.

And then about 3 months ago due to an impending relocation, lease expirations, and some hellaciously misbehaving daughters, I ended up moving into the spare room at the ex-wife's house in order to stay low commitment on leases, tread water until relocation, and to help guide the daughters...

Gentlemen, I'm proud to say that today I closed on buying MY house!

By being on my own for the last 6 years, I was able to put a cash down payment to buy the house, whereas my ex recently cashed in her 401K to buy a POS 50 year old camper project she intends to live in with her 3 cats and 2 dogs and all her credit card debt...

So stoked to be GMOW....
