I can see why she is concerned about abandoning her career, and not having a safety net. The solution is simple, save up money, put into a separate bank account (about a years worth), and if the marriage went south, she has a back up. Why do people make things so f-cking complicated? Also, has this lady has never heard of part time work? There are tons of part time gigs on freelancer.com that she can do right from home, and still have a career.

Yes, she’s an asshole. I don’t understand why getting married without a prenup is even an option in our world of no fault divorce? Makes no sense. There should be a law requiring them. Prenups protect both parties.
