A while back I bumped into a Chad friend of my from my early 20s.
He had done the whole thing - banged lots of women in his teens and twenties and then later married the divorced women with kids.
Her kids hated him and accused him of all sorts of crap.
They later divorced and he lost the lot including access to their child.
He is a broken man.
Yet he still showed me a photo of his "girlfriend" who he has never met but is hoping to get her to visit soon.
I guess she'll be asking for money for flights soon.

I wonder how the fuck people can fall in love over the internet. If this is happens, then it will be possible for many to fall in love with a Sexbot with AI
Here's a relavent link: https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2018/08/13/please-do-not-switch-me-off-an-experiment-with-begging-robot-shows-people-hesitate-pull-plug/

They build a perfect version of a person in their head and ignore the obvious signs. It happens all the time with relationships over the phone.

You’re not wrong.
AI / VR waifus are the future.

This is actually possible and mathematically is very interesting.
On a fundamental level women are good for their ability to release certain chemicals. That it is. I don’t mean that as particularly insulting, but it’s important we always see things as chemicals, not the illusions we create in our head, for instance
“She’s so funny” = “she releases feel good brain chemicals” objectively her humor does not matter at all, that thought is formed by brain chemicals. Same with girls thinking any guy they are into are funny or kind etc, even if they are not.
Why is this important? Because our brain makes weird illlusions in our mind to explain our brain chemicals, but at the end of the day we’re all just drug machine floating through a void looking for our fix. If an AI is lifelike enough to trick the brain into producing these chemicals (no reason to say it won’t be able to) women will become almost entirely obsolete.

This is actually possible
I suspect it is. What if the dude was talking to a bot? I. e. Some research team testing AI in the wild. The ultimate Turing test. And it was a no show because it was a bot

You don't just reduce everything to "brain and chemicals"
Our minds are vastly more advanced than that, materialism alone fails to explain them

Thirsty.
But of course. Haven't heard men saying 'I love my car', etc.

People fall in love over the internet with who they want the other person to be, not who they actually are.
It’s 100 times easier to mold your brain to think the other person is exactly what you want, especially when you don’t see the negatives.

I bet she'll text him later saying sorry and he's right back on the plane to meet no one again 😅

How do you fall in love with someone you've never seen? This clown cannot be repaired.
[–]softbeats14 points15 points16 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn’t say he was “catfished” he was just stood up.
It was all fun and games for her while it was all hypothetical on the internet but when he tried to make it real, it got too real for her and she backed out.

It’s a rejection buffer . Instead of going out and meeting women in the real world those scared of rejection enter long distance relationship with women that they were scared of giving up or even in the more extreme cases a woman they haven’t even met to avoid the dating market . If you have a long distance relationship you don’t have a girlfriend but a pen pal .

Believe it or not, but that's an happy ending
The real sad ending is if there was a hot girl waiting for him, enticing him to marriage

At least he was in Florida...
Shit man, make the best of it!
[–]RunawayGrain1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
First red flag was her being from Florida. Hint: I'm originally from Florida. AWALT and all, but drugs, money, and whatever is in the water makes the Florida ones especially nuts.

An seemingly expensive, but actually very cheap red pill. Hopefully, it's also one that works.
If not, then oh well. Red suppositories are always available for this man as well, but they're going to be more painful for him.

I feel so bad for you. That's the exact reason why I'd never meet someone I met on the internet let alone spend money for traveling.

Plot twist: following this post he got another private message from a woman, and was catfished again. Simps will never learn.

I'm still laughing.
