It's been rotten from the start. Feminism at its outset in the form of suffragettes didn't want equality. The biggest opponents to women's right to vote were working class women who feared that the "equality" being pushed for would make them be drafted and work the hard dangerous work their husbands had to. Those working class women much preferred the safety and comfort that having fewer rights afforded them. But it came to be revealed that suffragettes didn't want equality at all, and pushed for neither the responsibility of the draft that men had to bear, nor an entry into hard and dangerous men's work. Interestingly, after it easy revealed that the push for "equality" wouldn't make women have to accept male responsibilities, opposition from working class women evaporated.
That's because from the outset, feminism has always been about female supremacy. They want all the rights and privileges of both men and women, with none of the responsibilities of either. They wanted the vote without the draft. While they pushed for women to be absolved of all responsibilities of motherhood, they codified men's responsibilities of fatherhood into law. When they pushed for women to be able to act in whatever sexual manner they desired, they ensured that men were even more tightly bound by social and legal controls over their sexuality.
The second best lie feminism has spread is that it started off as a fight for equality. Equality never mattered to them, and it never will. It's been a morally bankrupt and hypocritical movement from the outset.

Camille Paglia is the only feminist I respect, most of movement has been a vehicle for hysterical, delusional, attention-seeking, hags. Just look into this suffragette cunt who got herself killed, and instead was martyrized by feminism, while attempting to turn a racing horse into propaganda.

Paglia is dissed by feminists, I'll go ahead and keep respecting her.
Cassie Jaye is a respectable documentarist that used to consider herself a feminist.
There's also Warren Farrell who used to advocate for feminism before switching POV.
Some people need to experience feminist thinking to later find distance from it.
