Heyo, lurker here, I wouldn’t classify myself as mgtow, at least if being mgtow requires the idea that all women are the same which I don’t agree with (plenty of them are similar tho) besides that I love the idea of this subreddit, even if it can be very curt and abrasive

That aside I was closing up where I work at while my manger was going on about how you should look for a guy (she’s female if it needs to be said) and she said word for word that you should find a man that will kiss your feet.

I’m 18, fresh out of shitty religious private school, I’ve had a girlfriend but I haven’t had sex yet, and honestly, if somehow I never manage to find someone where we are both equals, then I’m fine with never having another relationship (and on the extreme side sex) at all.

I’m my own person, and I refuse to put my mental health/ enjoyment of life at risk for someone else’s pleasure and for sex, as much as people like to gas it all up it’s just not worth it.

I know I don’t see eye to eye with the general consensus of this sub, but regardless it’s great to see stuff like this.

I’m an optimist, and I think we’re getting better and better as a society, but we need people like you and groups like this to shine a light where people usually don’t shine.
