Cambridge cops are following up on the hate mail and threats? I imagine they're doing it fairly slowly methodically if she's shared her racist views with them.

If the lack of oppression is causing people to spew utterly evil bullshit like this, perhaps oppression needs to make a comeback.

That's some scary shit there. That was 2018 - hopefully some people were paying attention to the fact that it was unsustainable, but from the rumblings I heard back when those stimulus checks were being sent out, it doesn't seem so.

I was about to agree with you, but then I thought about it more. Chances are these women already were being paid by the government while they were still "working," given the types of jobs being lost to COVID and how much they tend to pay.

Just imagine her fifty pounds heavier, buying the newest iphone with the money that's supposed to go to the kids you don't ever get to see and then using it to call up the latest chad or tyrone to pump and dump her so she can unleash a stream of trailer-trash invective on them so vile it would make Eminem blush. If that doesn't work, go rub one out to your favorite bit of porn and then focus on your actual work. If that doesn't work, by all means go out and bang some other girls. At some point (…

If I buy a game I want to be able to play it for years. Final fantasy 4, 6, 7, 10 and Tactics. Bushido Blade 1 and 2. Assassins Creed up through Black Flag. Gran Turismo. Midnight Club. Some of the Disgaea games. Soul Calibur 3. Crusader Kings 2. Tropico. Minecraft. Skyrim and Fallout 3, NV and 4. The Sims 3. At one point I had an entire computer dedicated to Morrowind and all its associated mods, but sadly that died.

The opposite, in fact. Before I was married, life was so much of a blur of thought, feeling and activity that I still have trouble working out just when I was doing any given thing. Now, my kid is the only thing really keeping me in this godforsaken place in the ass-end of corn country. When he's an adult and sets out on his own and I'm free to do my own thing again, there's no telling where I'll end up, but you can bet I'll have some good stories to tell when I get there.

Because there's no way we could ever think that a world that is led by men is a world that is good for everybody. It just doesn't work like that. Yeah, 5000 years of exponentially increasing progress haven't happened or anything. Nope. Men in charge just doesn't work. Fuck these opportunistic leeches.

No idea how we got to the parties choosing the electors, but, from Article II of the Constitution: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector. From the National Archives "Who selects the electors? Choosing each State's electors is a two-part process. First, the political parties in each State choose slates of potential electors sometime before the general election. Second, during the general election, the voters in each State select their State's electors by casting their ballots. The first part of the process is controlled by the political parties in each State and varies from State to State. Generally, the parties either nominate sla…

You focus on what is in your power to change and meditate often so that you fully understand exactly what that means. Concurrently you do your best to do all that you can to improve your circumstances and be the best you that you can be. The essence of stoicism isn't in indifference, it's in discernment: the realization that the only things that are really and truly under our control are our attitudes. You just need the rest of the quote to put it in proper gold-digging perspective: However little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighbourhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, that he is considered as the rightful property of someone or other of their daughters.

From what I remember in history and government in school, most states recognize your rights to life, liberty and property, but they can be pretty damned nebulous in just how far you can go to defend it. Looking around, apparently, not that many states give you a right to defend yourself and/or your stuff after all.

Been there. Well, in that neighborhood, anyway. Get a job or two, make some money, make a plan to unfuck your situation, follow it and adjust as needed. In the book the story continues, the bombs don't go off, our unnamed narrator winds up in an institution where he is beginning to realize that he is not, in fact "cured" and that Project Mayhem continues. Which implies that Tyler isn't dead. Apparently dude wrote a sequel, but his stuff is kind of hit and miss for me, so I've been hesitant to pick it up and read it and possibly ruin what's one of my favorite stories ever.

If they're worth a damn, your school should have recruiters on speed dial for relevant employers for their 2 year program students. You should speak to whatever employment office or counselor or whatever your school has in that regard first. Explain your situation and ask their opinion on the matter.…

Working. I'd like to think my dad, who typically worked 60 hour weeks, would appreciate the humor there if he were still around. My son brought me a horribly, wonderfully gaudy sword and a cool little statue for father's day in advance last time I saw him, so while I regret not having observed the actual day, the spirit has been honored and I'm content.

Most of my hobbies are pretty cheap. Spent a decent chunk of change on my computer and some software, but now that's writing, reading, drawing and all the knowledge of the internet at my fingertips for nothing. All my exercise is bodyweight stuff, so no cost for gym membership. About the only things I spend "play" money on anymore are dumb shit my kid and his friends get me into, like D&D, backyard rocketry or the otamatone.

Use reclaimed pallets for the benches and tables and . (Scorch them with a blowtorch and then stain for an interesting effect.) For interior partitions, you could use yet more pallets as a frame for your fake stone stuff. Or just build some out of 2x4s - it's not like those are super expensive. Pretty sure he meant to conflate the narcissism of the murderer with that of the adulterer when he made the analogy with murder. The criminality of murder just gives the satire more spice. Also pretty sure that that was fairly obvious and you're well aware of it and just trying to justify shitty behavior without actually justifying it.

It's not even because it's cheating. It's because she took a hit to her self-esteem. I feel like another part of it is that I feel SO insecure now because of my partners porn use, that I kind of want to seek validation from others, just to know that I'm not what my mind says I am (ugly, fat). In other news, water is wet and hoes are mad. That said, this is a myth. If you've ever watched or been part of a group of guys who often work closely together, you'll note that a lot of things go unsaid. They don't have to be said, they're understood without it - the very essence of indirect communication. Quite different from, for example, moping bitchily around the house and then when asked if anything is wrong, saying "Nothing." or some smartass variation on that theme.

Some more gems from a Des Moines Register article about it: Ostrom said the motion stemmed from his frustrations with his ex-wife's attorney, Matthew Hudson of Harlan. Pretty sure it's talking about the fucked up way people's minds work: the more you try to stop someone from doing something (e.g. cheating) the more they'll want to do it. Mind you, she'll most likely cheat regardless, but being jealous just speeds things along.

Heat the room, at least somewhat. Cold muscles and what-not are more susceptible to injury - especially as we get older - and if you're living alone far from help then the effects of injury are magnified. Also be careful going up and down your hill in the snow and ice. Austerity is good for you, but don't take it too far. Get a wood stove to heat it and chop the wood with an ax, would be my suggestion. That way you stay reasonably comfortable and get a built-in workout to earn it.

Begin with small things you can do now. Cut out junk food and go for a walk every day. I suggest studying a martial art, or at the least signing up for a weights class when you go to community college. While you're doing this, you should consider learning and practicing both journaling and meditation, as they'll help provide some direction and perspective. You could also do worse than to listen to this guy's advice both in general and regarding not being a degenerate.

That depends on just how much you value sexual experience in itself and where that value judgement came from. If it's something you can justify by any means other than "social expectations," then by all means, go study PUA stuff, improve your game, stock up on condoms and maybe get a vasectomy and go wreck some pussy. Otherwise, your time would probably be better spent rethinking your values.

Penis envy Karl Abraham differentiated two types of adult women in whom penis envy remained intense as the wish-fulfilling and the vindictive types:[16] The former were dominated by fantasies of having or becoming a penis—as with the singing/dancing/performing women who felt that in their acts they magically incorporated the [parental] phallus.[17] The latter sought revenge on the male through humiliation or deprivation (whether by removing the man from the penis or the penis from the man).[18]

Anything is possible. I suppose there may be some genuinely decent women out there. Somewhere. For now, at this precise moment. Maybe. But how many spoiled, overgrown children would I have to sort through to actually find one that's a decent human being who would bring any kind of value to my life? Not worth it to me, anyway.

Low value? According to whose definition? Don't internalize that shit. You're a living, thinking man, therefore you have value, or at least potential. Invest in yourself. Acquire skills and knowledge, get healthy if you aren't. Pursue the things that interest you. If only 1% of people share those interests, well, 1% of 7 billion is still a hell of a lot of people. Surely some of them are worth getting to know. If you're poor, live simply, save, invest, monetize whatever skills you have/can learn…

The fun thing (if you give absolutely no fucks about their opinion of you) is to make them have an interesting conversation. "What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen/done?" "If you were stuck on a desert island with only a book, a plastic spork and a trombone, how would you survive?" Shit like that. They will absolutely hate it because most people don't use those parts of their minds, but the conversation will be somewhat worthwhile if you can make them engage.

It's good to have goals, but this goes beyond that - you seem to be talking about a complete redefinition of yourself. So before you possibly fuck up and instead of going your own way, you begin going someone else's, it behooves you to ask yourself: why? Why do I feel like I need to do this? From the study the cnbc article is referencing: There is no unambiguous theoretical presumption with respect to the impact of gender diversity on corporate performance. The standard argument is that as firms are value maximizing, if anything could be gained by adding women to corporate leadership positions, they would do so; attempts to force change (by mandating female representation on boards, for example) could be counterproductive (Demsetz and Lehn 1985). What I got from that article was that brute strength wasn't so important anymore because the focus of fire departments has largely shifted to medical calls. Only problem I see with that is that it doesn't actually mean anything in context: if 4% of your job requires you to be in top shape, and you don't have the option to not do that 4%, then you have to be in top shape all the time. It doesn't matter if it's 4% or 94%, you still have to be able to haul around that heavy-ass hose.

I didn't mean you twisted it, just that it could easily be taken out of context, for example by the sort of facebook feminists who don't bother with due diligence before using a quote. As for accepting such lines and pushing for equality? The sort of person who would post that in all seriousness is precisely the sort of person it's pointless to actually debate with. It gets better. The heroine of that series has to be routinely saved from whoever the villain du jour happens to be by her husband, a tall, dark and handsome egyptologist. She was also militantly faithful to him, supported him wholeheartedly in his work when she wasn't trying (and failing) to be a detective, and was in general a unicorn if you look past the girl-power smokescreen. IIRC, that passage in particular was pretty ironic, having to do with a man who either wouldn't do something the her…

So let's flip this: A man who gets a woman pregnant out of wedlock - is judged (to be an idiot) A man who decides not to have kids - is judged A man (can't have an abortion) who abandons his kids - is severely judged, and in quite a few cases financially ruined and/or thrown in jail A man has no say in whether or not his kids will actually be born Hmmm... nope. The epic of Gilgamesh is one of the oldest hero stories. One incident in it concerns the wild man, Enkidu, created specifically to be a companion for our hero so he doesn't waste his strength pestering his people. Gilgamesh sends a harlot to go seduce Enkidu and turn him away from his uncivilized life, which, of course, works wonderfully. As for the Greeks and Romans, there's too many examples to list. My favorite example is the goddess of love, herself, who repeatedly cucked her husband both wi…

Remember when women were born inherently selfish and entitled? Gilgamesh remembers. And that was, what, 4000 years ago? Since then, you have the Greek and Roman mythologies, the Trojan War, the Bible, the Arthur legend and its associated stories, the Canterbury Tales, Shakespeare...and that's just off the top of my head. If it's social conditioning, it's something at the very root of society, so close to instinct as makes no difference.

My favorite is: if she can choose to not be a parent without asking how I feel about it, then I should be able to do the same. Since the law doesn't allow me that freedom, it shouldn't allow it to her, either. Simple, to the point, and skirts around pesky issues about whether or not abortion is in fact murder.

We aren't trying to change anything. That's the point. If change comes that's actually in the direction of real equality, it won't - can't - begin with men. Firstly because, as you've already noted, every time we voice our concerns we get shouted down. Secondly because every system that matters is already tilted way too far in favor of women. I thought the purpose of society was to bring order to all the interactions between people that were formerly ad hoc - commerce, interpersonal conflict, etc. Order, i.e. safety. And fairness. Naturally this is an impossible goal, but it's worth striving towards. It may not be achievable, but it's approachable. What I'm talking about here isn't Big Brother, it's simple rule of law. The downside of trailers is that they're cheaply made. Everything is shitty lumber or particle board. Morally ambiguous and legally untenable. Choice is still choice even if you lack the means to follow through with it. Also, this gets carried over into law, and how can a man defend himself against charges of "he made me feel threatened"? He has literally no control over how she feels. Shit like this is rationalization before the fact, and the worst sort of intellectual dishonesty.

So please, help me to understand if anyone part of MGTOW thinks they would like to be with a female or perhaps try and have a relationship and settle down and get married and choose to have high expectations. Plenty of us do have sex. Some have girlfriends. You won't find any who will "settle down and get married" and this is mostly because of high expectations. Do what you want, man. 137 women out of 7,632,819,325 people get killed daily by a partner or family member. I've read about this. A good lawyer would love this shit. If those rules are equally enforced, women will be raging against how sexist the law is, because they all do at least some of the things on that list. You honestly think that in 15 years we will have once-in-a-lifetime breakthrough advances in AI (to simulate consciousness), Wouldn't really need full AI, just a pretty deep script to get by with enough conversation for everyday use. servomotorization (to allow for human-like movement), This would take some work, going by the robots I've worked with, but it's not an insurmountable obstacle construction materials (to allow for a "human-like" textile feel) Synthetics get better every day, it seems…

Personally, I only have a few issues with it. I mean, back in the day I was pretty damned slutty, myself. However, and this is the important part, I was always up front about only being after sex. I made sure I was healthy. I used condoms. And I was polite. If women want to act in such a way, I don't give a shit. In both the book and the movie, the narrator (I'm hesitant to call him the protagonist) didn't ever really buy into the ideas his alter ego did. The book especially bears this out. But I do know that so far, every human that lives, shall die. And with that death, ends everything. Whether or not a 'legacy' is left behind is of little worth or meaning to the dead. The problem with MGTOW, in my opinion, is that nothing can be attained through avoidance. What, you mean aside from peace and quiet, no legal bullshit, and much more stable finances? TCU Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Kathy Cavins-Tull went on to further denounce Crowder by stating in an address to the school “For some of the members of our community, it was a day of pain and anguish,” Cavins-Tull said. “For others, a day of disappointment that the university failed to remove the source of their pain from the public sidewalk. I want to acknowledge the pain that I saw yesterday and the disappointment that I heard. I also want to acknowledge those who used their voices to…

IME the protestant branches are very family oriented. That being said, if you are actually religious and are careful to back up your choice to GYOW with chapter and verse, there isn't much they could say without coming off as hypocritical idiots. I would expect a lot of well-meaning attempts to set you up with this or that eligible female in the congregation in a protestant church, though, regardless of what you say, how loudly or often you say it or whom you say it to. Church ladies love to pla…

The problem with all that, even allowing your overly optimistic view of female nature, is that men are at present the only ones so overburdened by the system that walking away seems like a preferable option. Women and the other 5 million genders get a number of benefits that will last until the system can no longer sustain itself. They have no immediate incentive to change it, let alone abandon it.

Not so. Meditation is more complicated and has more complicated effects. Its benefits on the psyche and the body are still being argued over but there are measurable benefits. As to the whole hippie "one with the cosmos" shit, you can train your brain to do some amazing shit, but that shouldn't be confused with useful meditation.

My question today is, now that you've separated yourself from women or the idea that you have to be a certain man for a woman, or the stereotypical roles of a male (both in gender and sex) are you getting in touch with your feminine aspect because you don't focus on females to fulfill that? Yeah, and the irony is I'd probably pay more to get my hypothetical van plated than I ever did on property taxes back when I owned property. I'd still prefer it. Land ownership is just more hassle than I want to deal with.

I am not my government. I live in a "republic," so I'm twice removed from being in that happy state: once by the whim of the mob who elected the representatives, and once by the representatives themselves. Just look at things like this to see how far "agency" gets you in this system.

Lol. Guess I should have put /s. Woops.

Ha, like my taxes are being well-spent right now? Like they have been for my entire working life? If you'd seen the state of the roads, parks and police where I am, you wouldn't be so quick to make this argument. That, or you'd be appallingly disingenuous. This isn't Animal Farm and I refuse to "work harder."

I don't know if it's homophobia so much as pure narcissism and denial. Like, "You won't follow the prescribed patterns of speech/action/thought! You must want to fuck me! What? You don't want to fuck me? But I'm the sum of all that is good and right! Nothing can be wrong with or about me! You must be gay!"

No. It's one thing to be comfortable with your flaws, quite another to flaunt them and dare people to comment on it. This, worn in public, by this girl would just be the worst kind of attention-seeking.

Um. Yeah, actually. A friend of my mom's basically paid for me to work for a non-profit when I was going to college. And then the lady that ran the office there gave me a few hundred dollars as a going-away present when I decided to switch schools. Sadly, the one is dead now and the other I've lost touch with.

The single moms actually pay? Back when I was working for one of the landlords in my area, they'd move in in the summer, pay for a few months somehow and then live rent free over the fall and winter because evictions take time and you can't put a woman with kids out on the street after a certain date. ( I want to say sometime in October, but I don't remember exactly when.) So my boss was stuck with these freeloaders until spring. And then half the time they'd not pay the gas or electric, it woul…

Trades can be fun, definitely rewarding, both in the sense that you make good money and in the sense that you're doing something tangible with hard-earned skill (at the end of the day, you can look at the section of wall, flip the switch to power the circuit, turn on the water, or whatever. You've done something real that will last for years. Makes you want to do a Tim Allen grunt.) Haven't actually shaved in years. Just trim the beard every couple of weeks. When I was working jobs where I had to shave, I preferred doing it in the shower with a waterproof electric razor. Quick and easy and less inclined to make my face break out. Shower daily, right after taking a shit. Shampoo every other day or every three depending on how greasy your hair is. If you find your skin is getting dry, use shower gel instead of bar soap or maybe some lotion after showering. I'd also suggest ta…

Sounds like he still hasn't thought it through, or else it's too bitter a truth to acknowledge. I'm willing to entertain the idea that if you can do the requisite mental gymnastics, maintain frame, or whatever you want to call it, then you can maintain an LTR that won't break you. The question then becomes, is that kind of continuous effort worth it? And the answer, IMO, is no, which leaves MGTOW as the only sane option. Aside from the military, I only have a few suggestions. 1.) get a job. Even if it's some soul-sucking minimum wage thing, you feel better if you're earning your keep. 2.) do things that interest you. If you don't know what to do, then try things until you find some you like. 3.) work out. Nothing exorcises demons like exercise. 4.) learn a martial art.
