depends on the type of steel and how much chimmny the jet fuel has...

If the fuel made it down to the bottom of the elevator shafts, maybe. Iron will actually burn if its hot enough and theres enough oxy. search the USS Forestal fire. Steel can burn just from the paint and enough air. But the structual steel in buildings requires alot more....

And from the looks of the videos that fuel mostly burned instantly.

And those outside I beam stansions wouldnt have popped out horizontally like that and so uniformly. the load from getting smacked by the floors above would have been inclined by the damage being more on one side. pretty good chance those buildings were charged for demolition when built. the design was for them to take out the interior center box of support stansions and have the building collapse inward and down in its own footprint.

I suspect alot of modern buildings are like that... they just dont scare the horses... its to save money and lower insurance risks at demolition time.

if you watch videos of professional demolitions of older buildings, they always come down a bit one sided, because even det cord uses time.

If they used thermate like paint, and the building needed to come down it would be mostly a wiring job. Maybe designed to add small pastik charges.

I dont think they wanted to admit that.

Not a conspiracy, but a major engineering fukup.

Traces of aluminum oxide and iron oxide? both of which oxidize naturally? both of which form oxides in fire conditions? both of which get ground up to various levels in the largest grinder possible to construct?

Things are inconclusive. My only question is why the stansions on the outside popped out horizontally. wouldnt have been designed into the center collapse the building was designed to do by removing bottom center supports. Stansions popping outward at high speed would have been a liability in demolition.

And to do it and still get free fall velocities? ie zero resistance....

Strange physics...

Theres more questions than answers, and everything humans do stinks.

I dont trust anybody... I just think about everything and what all the possibilities might be. Not invested in a conclusion. either way...

Bullshit...

Has long been known fires on ships create temperatures that will cause the steel to actually burn just like a cutting torch works... fuel? paint. Oxy? just from the air and a chimney effect. Which is why I mentioned the forestal fire earlier. Also I do black smithing, and know you can achieve those temps with coal, charcoal, and even some hardwoods as fuel, and nothing but forced or induced draft in the case of primitive blast furnaces.

Your belief in men in labcoats lacks scope.

You can create molten iron globules with nothing but a flint or chert sharp edge and a striking motion. its how lighting fires with flint and steel works. and can happen with softer steels if the energy is increased. Like the sparks from a grinding wheel on even mild steel or stainless.

There was alot of steel, alot of fuel, and the elevator shafts for chimneys. quite the stacks for accelerating induced draft if some of the burning fuel poured into them. Way more than in a ship fire.

We are talking some fairly high energy blast furnace effects with that amount of induced draft. Theres never been an induced draft blast furnace that tall built before.

Its a bit more than you can likely induce in a lab...

And way more than a squirrel cage blower on a forge, where you can literally achive temperatures to burn up steel.

I've played with oil fired furnaces before and melted plenty of aluminum and even steel before. Your silly theory about elevators acting as chimneys is just that - a theory. A theory that's never been proven before in any high-rise office building fire. And this talk of "fuel", most of the fuel that was in that plane burnt up on the impact. Did you not see the explosion? Yeah, that's all jet fuel being used up. If you were so keen on smelting knowledge, you would have seen that thick black smoke and realized that those fires were cold. Which means they weren't getting the oxygen needed to reach the temperatures you're proposing. When you have a nice clean hot burn you aren't pumping out tons of unburnt hydrocarbons in the form of dark sooty smoke. I want you to watch this and honestly tell me that's from air and hydrocarbons.
