A new article on Sophie monk, who seems pretty much like a perfect example of the poisoned modern woman.

Some comments in particular stand out. So she is DEMANDING that he propose ("He's just got to propose"). This seems crass. Where is the satisfaction / romance / joy in a man offering something that was DEMANDED of him? I'm reminded of the interesting book `Seduction' by Jean Baudrillard. A man will take more joy in offering marriage to a woman who is reserved, shy, feminine, coy, maybe a little fragile and anxious or uncertain. This creates a scenario whereby the man can say "I offer you my strength" and take joy in offering it. But a straight-up demand? It's the antithesis of seduction. She's also demanding children. As she hits the wall and her fertility expires. Sigh.

The other comment that leaps out at me: "I want everything everyone else has". That just blows me away. I hardly know what to say. But my first thought is: "No, she doesn't". She wants MORE than what everyone else has. Does she want an average looking guy, with an average income, the same as what the average other woman has? I looked up some of her exes, as a reference. Jason Statham (Hollywood alpha-alpha megastar), Benji Madden (bad boy rockstar), Ryan Seacrest (American celebrity heavyweight), John Diaz (very good looking plastic surgeon), Kevin Connolly (American TV star), Russell Simmons (rap star), Stu Landry (vasectomised multi-millionaire) and last but not least Jimmy Esebag (French billionaire sugar daddy). This is hardly "what everone else has".

Some other points to note:

1) She's freezing her eggs, 2) She met him in business class on a plane, 3) She made out with him on the first meeting, 4) current bf was married when the met, etc.

She used to look good. If you google Sophie Monk nude, that shot with the flower in particular, she looks good, and I don't normally like blondes. But I can't help but feel that Sophie Monk is the classic anti-role model for young girls, and that things will end badly for her. I wouldn't be surprised if the current bf has a vasectomy, and is just taking the piss for a while. Either way, I don't envy him at all.
