I quite liked it, but some reason it felt kinda empty to me for some reason. I mean its a great movie with stunning visuals and I liked the progression of the main characters (Miles and Peter B. Parker, and maybe Gwen). But I just can't put my finger on it, there's something that feels like its missing that stops me from enjoying the movie to the same level as everyone else...

I despise the whole idea of the Spiderverse and most of the characters within. Haven't seen the movie (and I won't), I'm talking about the comics it came from mostly.

For one thing, there's too fucking many Spider-Men by now. Really takes away from the "guy gets random superpowers and has to decide how to use them, how to balance them with his life, and how to keep those he cares about safe" when the exact same powerset is just being handed out like candy. They brought back Gwen friggin' Stacey from the dead just to give her spider powers and go "Look everyone! Yet ANOTHER female spider-character!"

It's like the Hulk and his ten billion clones. He started as a random accident that cursed a poor scientist to always be on the run while fighting back against the beast inside him, but now there's about thirty different Hulks, so it's not really a "random monster accident" thing anymore, it's just a powerset you can pick up at the Gamma Mall.

"When everyone is super, no one will be."

But anyway, back to Spidey. I also hate the Spiderverse continuing the trend of maddeningly annoying multiverse stories that have become so damn prolific. You can't go five feet in comics, DC or Marvel, without stepping into an alternate universe where Superman is evil, the Joker is Batman, the Avengers all became zombies, and someone else instead of Peter Parker became Spider-Whatever (girl, woman, boy, pig, hulk, etc.).

I refuse to see it because I've started hating Marvel with a passion lately. And Miles Morales is the spawn of a publicity stunt that eventually gained a life of its own, so I will never even come close to thinking he's an okay character.

Not trying to tell anyone they're wrong for seeing this movie, I just felt like blowing off some steam.

Spider-Man Homecoming sucked. It was chaulkfull of sjw p.c rhetoric - rife with feminism and multiculturalism. As if that's not bad enough it was a weak plot.
