Seeking validation from anyone is a trap. Nobody actually gives a shit about you, and most others want to see you fail, precisely because it validates them. But all of those people are going to continue being miserable, because validation is as fleeting and worthless as sex.

Life truly gets much better when you aren't wrapped up in what others think of you. If you have to impress anyone for them to spend their time with you, they aren't someone who should be in your life.

Also, no matter what you have to offer a woman, it will more than likely not be enough. She might say "hey nice car!" But try to afford that car while she goes to the mall, gets a new outfit and her nails done with your money.

Very true and that second paragraph rings true in so much of my experiences - the consistent cycle of things being all great and shiny at the beginning of a relationship, and then sharply nosediving after a month (you get that long if you're lucky ha) which is when the sex stops, the weight gain happens and the bitching/nagging begin.

I don't think myself as a pickup artist or anything but I enjoy hunting women. I don't think it's validation that I seek from women but more the hunt. Sex doesn't even matter most of the time but like a cheetah hunting a gazelle, there is some level of play and sport.
