She showed her hand before she had all the info, he was lucky or he was testing her (most likely). I heard of a story like this prior, not a trust fund just had money but similar frugal lifestyle, she dumped him because she "felt" he had no ambition and direction (i.e. no money). He kept the knowledge of him being very well off a secret. He reacted similarly when she threw down, said fine, see ya later basically, later she found out he was loaded from a mutual friend/acquaintance she went mental, trying to shame him for not telling her or spending money on her since he had it. Her story is on relationships subreddit I believe, there are a few updates as well, she is a total bitch on how she stalked him and went to lengths to ruin another relationship he got into after her, scorched earth I guess
