Even James Bond is becoming a pussy. I remember the Bond purists were pissed about Casino Royale because James uncharacteristically 'fell' for the Bond girl of the movie, which he's never supposed to do.
Last night I watched Star Trek Beyond and picked up on the fact that they changed it to "boldly go where no ONE has gone before" . . . apparently they had to change 'man' to 'one' to be more PC. They also made Sulu gay, much to George Takai's dismay as it served no purpose to the story (even though George himself is gay). So anyone who tries to say that Hollywood doesn't have an agenda is full of shit. Brace yourself boys, your entertainment is going to evolve into blatant feminist propaganda over time.

I don't think Hollywood is simply feeding the herd, it's more like they are trying to indoctrinate the herd. Look at Trump being elected, for example. Do you really think that the people who voted for Trump, i.e. half of the country, is happy to see that Sulu is gay in Start Trek? I understand your point, it seems weird that there would be a conspiracy, but I'm waking up to the left's subversive tactics. I think it would be more accurate to say that Hollywood is feeding the herd what they want while at the same time telling the herd what they want. Also consider that media in general leans left . . . it's all connected and not necessarily mutually exclusive. Women are the biggest consumers in Western society, so they are certainly catering to their audience as well (hence every sitcom with the smart sassy mom and the dipshit dad). But there's something fishy going on, and I think it's naive to simply call it capitalism.

Right on. This is all new to me, I used to brush off accusations of the mainstream media being biased until the Trump election (and I'm not even a Trump guy). Despite Trump providing them with plenty of fodder, I was blown away by how seemingly every media organization lambasted Trump constantly. Trump was painted as the devil, and Hillary as Mary herself. At first I would watch headlines thinking "well, what did Trump do this time", but over time I noticed what a huge and overwhelming overreaction the media would have to anything he did. For the record, Kate McKinnon's portrayal of Hillary on SNL pushed me over the edge . . . she portrayed her as the ever-patient, all-knowing, perfect, snarky, feminist demigod. I had never seen Kate McKinnon before, but her performance really disturbed me as dishonest to its core, and after further researching . . . whaddaya know, Kate McKinnon is a raging feminist who thinks all hetero sex is rape (she's a lesbian).
So I started reading more into bias. Then I started watching Ben Shapiro videos online, and while he initially rubbed me the wrong way (he can come off as unpleasant), I couldn't refute anything he said and watched him dismantle any leftist that tried to engage him in actual debate (which is why the left sticks with personal attacks and character assassinations rather than logic and facts, because that's they're most effective debate tactic). A year ago I considered myself somewhat liberal, but now I view my liberalism as the same 'go with the flow' kind of disinterested attitude, conflating liberalism with equality like your average passive consumer might.
Just yesterday I started reading "The Feminist Lie: It Was Never About Equality", and the author goes into depth about how Gloria Steinem subversively manipulated the media to effectively stir up 2nd wave feminism in the 1960's. The media is the only reason the message could spread. That's why billionaires buy news organizations . . . control the messages and the people for whatever agenda you have.
Most recently, I saw the video of Ashley Judd's speech at the Women's March on Washington. If you haven't already seen this, I encourage you to watch it for as long as you can stomach it . . . you'll start to understand what feminism is really about. Every word out of her mouth is more bizarre, preposterous, and offensive than the one before it. I had no idea it was this bad. I had no idea it was this insane. And it wasn't some one-off feminist on a college campus, it was a major Hollywood actress in front of a national audience in front of the White House.
Now, I am conservative. I came to this conclusion two weeks ago. The left had me in tow up until now, but their bullshit now stinks so bad that people are forced to deal with this incredibly destructive phenomenon. It's a really sad state of affairs in the west.
