A tool.
The alpha tool gives her tingles,
The beta tool gives her money and things purchased with money.

i like to give the tool analogy. if you're a handy man, you maybe have some tools. imagine working on a car. you often need a hammer, you have the perfect hammer. it feels good, you like using it and you don't mind using just that hammer.
this is how women see men. sure, they like THAT hammer, but its a hammer. if the handle would break, you would simply buy a new hammer because ultimately its just a utility to you. you might mourn the old hammer a day but then it's just a fucking hammer. this is how women pair bond to men.
....they...feel like they care. and they do to a degree. women do pair bond to men in some weird utilitarian way where they can become quite attached. but once you lose your utility to them, you become nothing. you see it throughout the internet in stories of men who hurt themselves physically and all of a sudden they are divorced or left by their woman.
