"The Wall" is basically the time period where a woman's looks rapidly decline. Usually starts around menopause, although with bad genetics and a crappy lifestyle it can start a decade earlier if not more.
It is a biological fact. As a woman's fertility decreases, all her feminine traits that define her beauty go down the drain, as you can clearly see in the picture. Because women base their entire value on looks and beauty, once these things are gone, they lose whatever worth they had in most of society as they transform into a Karen.
This process generally happens fast, which is why it's called the Wall, as it's akin to smashing head first into one!
