Monogamy

Most men and women marry one of the other. Each family has a man at the centre and in control. Male and Female sexuality must be controlled; this has been done by teaching conservative religious values from a young age with the threat of a poor afterlife and an unimportant individual earthly life. Energy is used for different things than aquiring a mate. Civilizations can be built. The focus is long term. Genes are filtered out slower.

Polygamy

Women are drawn to the wealthy men who marry them. A woman only have sex with one man. Men choose one son to share his wealth and power with. Men have a role of a father but cannot perform it to all his potential children. The society is orderly but unstable. There is some control of male and female sexuality. There are many frustrated men without wives. This could be the dawn of a great civilization. Women are drawn to men who can aleviate them from work.

Alpha Tribalism

There is a core of alpha males. Women make up the second class. The bulk of men make up the lowest class. Women have sex with many men. Alpha men can pick and choose from the women. Normies try to have sex and succeed sometimes; often in exchange for resources. There is no control of alpha sexuality; female sexuality runs free mostly; beta males sexuality is supressed but some have sex sometimes. Finding a mate to have sex with is the primary use of energy and surplus resources. Males and Females are always in conflict and rivalry with each other. Nobody knows who fathered the children; men do not take the role of a father upon themselves. There is low order and level of civilization. There is little long term planning.

The former civilized society is going from model one to model three. It is in decay.
