You seem to have misunderstood our position as MGTOW. We don't claim there is anything wrong with hypergamy in and of itself, we merely point out the effects that it has in men's lives. These effects, more often than not, are harmful to us, and thus we see it as something to be wary of. However it is not our stance to say "hypergamy is wrong" any more than it is our stance to say that "hurricanes are wrong". They are neither wrong nor right, they are merely dangerous, and something that we must navigate.

There are two kinds of hypergamy: The natural, visceral kind, and the sociological kind. The dilemma of woman is how to satisfy both; how to fuck Chad, cuck Brad, and have Brad be fine with paying the bills. So, in effect, she can never be satisfied with who commits to her, even if (and especially) if he's rich. She'll always feel as if "something is missing," and she will feel justified in deceit.

Now, is that something blameworthy? That is up to you. But if you think, as you apparently do, that rich men are eugenically superior, this kind of man gets the worst end of hypergamy.

It's just what it is. I kinda think it may become harmful when a woman is 46, has 2 teenagers and is still looking to branch-swing to another guy. Marriage doesn't stop hypergamy. But water is wet, the sky is blue and a woman is hypergamous. It's what it is.

Hypergamy does not equal going for looks over income potential. I have no idea where you got that notion. Men are attracted to youth, women are attracted to potential. This is biological. Both men and woman will choose to upgrade if there isn't a cost to it. There used to be a certain shame and social stigma behind divorce and "branch swinging" but that stigma is absent today. Thus is the rationale of men going there own way. Marriage is an antiquated concept.
