I need to read more of his books. He was red pilled af. Even back then, in his time, 70s 80s, through his books you can see the pattern in the women's behaviour.

The thing is he wasn't the most handsome and had the most success with women before being successful. so he had resentment and big understanding of women and society in general. he hated most jobs he had and described the bullshit people go through just to live. , and when he got successful , he kept that resentment and explained it more.

When you've got nothing to lose you see the world much more clearly. I'm not just talking about money- when you lose everything and you have no hope it's like a veil lifts and you see everything as it should be. Bukowski seems liked he lived in that space and that gave him an insight to the world very few people ever have. He knew the true nature of women and had nothing to lose from writing books about it.

He had nothing to offer and he knew it. He gained most of his fame after his death and what celebrity he did receive was countered by the hate he got for the same. He lived a hard life we can all learn from.

Ah, Bukowski is a legend! I never got into his poetry, but I loved his novels.

Bukowski was the shit. I got all of his novels on Kindle first and loved them so much that I bought physical copies. They are the only books i have bought physical copies of AFTER having already read them.

There's a whole sub dedicated to this genius. Almost finished with post office then onto the next book in chinaskis life. Which i think is women or ham on rye.
