I'm part of a couple groups, and one of the things about these groups is the god damned hugging. I don't know when in society hugging with strangers is a thing, I don't know if its because the women have some sort of protocol, but I literally have to do this all the time.

I cannot stand being hugged. It's not because mom dropped me as a child, or too much TV, or anything else, I'm just not into hugging strangers.

If you're my GF or something, sure, or if I know you even, sure. But strangers? Get the fuck away from me. Are you trying to pick my pocket? Back the fuck off.

My totally BP friend works with almost all women (who have tested his boundaries, found them to be weak and now basically abuse him at will). Yesterday he told me that he's just waiting for the sexual harassment claim against him. I basically said "[hearty laugh], yep." I'm an engineer, and I actively seek employment at places with a high ratio of men to women.
