I was thinking about the social pressures on men to "land" a wife and settle down. This is a pressure put on men by men and women. I have seen this with my own eyes. Women are the prize.

What I haven't seen with my own eyes, ever, by any woman, or even heard them talk about the idea is them telling another woman "You better snap out of it and treating your man with respect or he's going to leave you".

It's like they love the drama. They don't want other women to do well. I saw a documentary a while back where a woman dressed and looked like a man to make male friends and see how the other sex lives. What blew her away was friendship that she had never felt before. Like a real companionship and understanding with another human being of the "same" sex and how she missed it.

Maybe it's just me. Just blew my mind and it takes a lot to shock me.
