When did you feel discriminated against for being a male?

When I was accused of raping a class mate at 14 even though I was at a funeral, 800 miles away at the time of the alleged incident, and was subsequently sexually abused at a mental hospital when I tried to commit suicide when they stuck me in juvie for not signing a confession that had been written two days before I returned home from the funeral.

How did the nurse and the doctor I told about justify it? “You could have this happen everyday for the rest of your life and never know what they poor girl felt.”

When I was raped by a female teacher in college after I got drunk and she was completely sober, and I was told that a man cant be raped because rape means you were penetrated by a penis or foreign object. So all she got was an ‘unwanted sexual contact’ charge that landed her a 400 dollar fine.

When my ex cheated on me, got pregnant and the court ruled that even though the paternity test showed I was not the father, because I had a greater income I would still have to pay child support for a kid she gave up for adoption the same day he was born.

When I told my psychologist about what happened to me at the mental hospital and he told me that I was just looking for sympathy, because a ‘female professional would never do that’.

When I was told that could not get a job at a company I had applied for months in advance because they hire minorities first.

When I was hit by a woman who drove up onto the sidewalk to go around a red light, and the cop gave ME a ticket for loitering (I was waiting for the walk signal) and let her go with a verbal warning.

When I was brutally assaulted by two drunk female classmates while in college, and campus security had me arrested because I shoved one of them so I could get my phone out to call 911.

When a woman was let into a storm shelter that ‘had no room’ just a few seconds before when I asked to be let in.

When a dog breeder told me they only sell dogs to women, because men are perverts.

I could go on and on… do you really want me to?
