There's a book called "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" which explains the following (like all book long is only examples of that, you understood after the first examples, but they felt the need to put five fucking hundred) : When facing a problem, Men will try to fix it, usually by isolating themselves to focus until they find the solution. Women will want to just talk about the issue, not fix it, just talk about it. And once they talked about it enough, they are happy and move on. If you try to offer a solution, they'll get mad because they don't want that. They'll also get mad because their husband/boyfriend/males friends will be in their own head trying to work out their issues instead of paying attention to them.

I bet if her boyfriend came home pouting about his boss she would NOT give him the treatment she is asking for. However, she won't respond with logical solutions like she gets. No way.

She'll use the opportunity to dismiss his problems as nothing (since they aren't HER problems, they don't need to take up any of her precious time). What's worse is that the more this happens, the more that hypergamy hamster spins and she's off to find better cock that doesn't complain so much.
