From the sidebar, it's a very inspiring message:

We are men going our own way by forging our own identities and paths to self-defined success; cutting through collective ideas of what a man is.

I agree with all of this. There is a journey in becoming a man, something that seems lost in our modern society. No one wakes up and suddenly becomes a man, and I was thinking that this would be the subreddit that would act as a guide.

The cores of masculinity (or at least in my view) are such of perseverance, courage, leadership, stoicness and taking on responsibilities. The posts on here, disappointingly don't embody any of these traits. All the top posts just bitch about women. I'm sorry but being an insistent complainer doesn't fall under my scope of masculinity.

Like I get it, you guys hate women, that's fine by me, you do you. But by spending the time and energy hating on women, you are hindering your own process of going your own way. I ask you, if you're planning on going your own way, why care about women at all? Just focus on yourself and you will be much happier and fullfilled.

Anyways, I think this sub should be instead focused on things like self improvement, working out, navigating the career ladder, fun hobbies or whatever, instead of what's currently going on.
