I'm 24, healthy, good hormones, active, etc, and I have zero desire to have sex. I have a sex drive, as in, my hormones still compell me to want to have sex, but when I think about it, I think about all the courting, conversation, energy, time and effort put in just to even get sex in the first place and it just immediately turns me off. I love looking at a beautiful woman, but the thought of all the shit I'd have to give up in my life just to get sex from her just isn't worth it. The risk isn't worth it and neither is the time spent. Call it pathetic, idc but I'd rather just jerk off a few times a week and go right back to what I was doing. The need to have an orgasm is more of an inconvenience at this point than anything.

Controlling your sexual urges in this day and age is one of the toughest battle a man can face with himself. Men get lonely, bored and depressed and get addicted to that hit of dopamine rush during masturbation and the Triggers are everywhere, you have no where hide.

I'm on an anti-depressent that reduces my libido and it's really interesting viewing things with totally clear eyes.

EG, one thing I've noticed is that women will act all sweet/flirty if they want something from you, and just instantly turn that off if you can't/won't help them. I feel like when I was in my teens/twenties that my brain would just totally downplay that sort of behavior.

Power overall is just a mind game. It only works if both parties fall for it. If you realize that, you'll realize nobody has got any power over you and you're totally free. In a thought experiment: if I was to point a loaded gun to you and say "start crawling on the floor." You'd start crawling (me too if it was the other way around). If you fall for the power idea both would say: the guy with the gun has POWER!!! But he doesn't you or me would only start crawling because we don't want that bullet. However we always have the choice not to crawl and eat that bullet...

Power is portrayed in much movies as well. Look at Palpatine "unlimited POWER!!!" Errr, you needed Anakin to execute that. So it was already not "unlimited." And you couldn't stop the rebellion from growing. The only character in movies/ series I've seen with actual power was Kilgrave in Jessica Jones S1. (JJ being for me a great female character in S1 and 2 for that matter). He had the power to bestow his will on other people. To the level he could force them to commit suicide. That would be real power.

Regarding women... Take sex out of the equation with interacting with females completely. Stomp that down to a level of complete and true indifference and you take away all "power" she might think she has. There is no "danger" of interacting with women on a business, co worker or friendship level. Learn all their manipulation tricks and manipulate back harder. If you see her "flashing" to you, let the indifference kick in. Manipulate the situation to the level she really has the feeling she's rejecting you. While the opposite is the case. That will save you from a lot of drama and trouble.
