Mom uses that money to pick out a gift

Dad did the hard part, mom did the fun part

Daughter praises mom and criticizes dad

She expects men to be providers but criticizes them for not doing half of the other work as well?

In the future, she will work part time, while her husband works 60+ hours a week (to support her atrocious spending, of course), and she will demand that he does half of the housework as well. Cause, ya know, equality or something.
