It is important to look after our own interests as we live in an increasingly hostile anti-male environment.

You may be strong like an oak, but it may help if you act weak. It keeps the beavers away and it gives a solid excuse for not helping the owners-of-moist-fishes with anything.

Learn from the enemy. Mirror their actions and turn it ON them whenever you please or can. Example: Show hurt and disappointed when they express their interest in you, which they keep doing. It's irritating. But do not lose cool. Just show them that they are being creeps through non-verbal communication.

Be acutely aware of your own interests at all times. Remember, your time and money are more precious just by the virtue of belonging to you. Be ruthless in swatting off fish owners, but in a very polite and gentle way. What will touch them is velvet but what would hit them inside would be cold hard iron.

If a fish owner contacts you whom you are not interested in, leave them in "read". Feel no obligation to communicate.

Fear drama like the plague. Know that when the owner of a fish wants to engage you they will "create" drama from thin air and kill other people if need be. Stay aware. Situational awareness is your friend. Do not walk into any trap. Learn to see them from 10 miles away. And then from 100 miles away.

The beavers employ words to get their way. Use words to deny the way. When denied, they resort to meaningless violence. Return it on a grossly disproportionate scale discouraging beavers from trying something like that again, but only after ensuring that it cannot be traced back to you.
