I don't have to worry about the next few weeks after it's completed. Once I get the assurance test validating my 0 sperm count, I'll be on cloud 9.

Edit: Cost is $750; the places (USA) I checked ranged from $550-$1000 this one was middle of the road but none of the urologists will use my insurance. I have stellar insurance but while it covers treatment for transgender dysmorphia, I have zero coverage for vasectomy. I made my peace with it but muh equality.
