Well, to be fair... only like 10% of lions get to fuck a female. The rest are told to fuck off and die alone.

Ooh can we do this. I want less people. I mean lions.

This already happens a bit
[–]Sir_manalot2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This.
We would all be killing each other if we were more akin to animals.
The few whom are left (probably not you and the winners will probably include some incels even) will get all the sex and love they want.
...and will have to work as hard as five men do currently.
So instead of 80 hour work weeks, expect to work 24 hours a day for scraps.

Not all animals are like that. Lions were just a poor choice for the OP to use. Some kinds of monkeys have big orgies, so maybe that would be a good comparison instead of lions.

This guy doesn't understand AFBB
Females ARE biologically programmed to spread their pussy for Chad. No BS. No drama.

nah, there's subpar lionesses. Btw, those lions don't have it all easy. Gotta watch out for elephants.
[–]Darth_Toenail28 points29 points30 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
And we don't?
[–][deleted] 19 points20 points21 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Seriously! I live every day in a state of perpetual terror because of those six ton cockroaches.
[–]D0p3y31 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yea we gotta watch out for whales.

Those sneaky elephants!

Bullshit. And anyone who knows the least bit about animals and biology can attest.
Male animals fight hard for their chance to mate. Whether it's showing off plumage, building nests, surviving countless threats and even fighting each other for dominance and mating rights.
[–]bluescape12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
That's my theory as to why men that get cheated on will go after the guy. It's the male competitive instinct. Your animal brain kicks in, and suddenly you're ready to lock antlers. Animal brain doesn't register that "she chose to cheat", because in nature it's the mating rights that are top priority, and securing that frequently means fighting off the competition.
[–]Sir_manalot2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
In the animal kingdom, men are nothing and women are everything.
Which is why humanity has to seal away there animal instincts to get anywhere.
...Orperhaps create a system that allows all men to get all the sex they want (which sex bots and a prostitution system might allow). I have very little hope in this one happening though, it would be the best system, but we will have to push through our pussy worship to create this system.

And sometimes she eats you, literally, after the fact.

The lionesses don't "care" about the alpha male either and they'll always spread their pussy for the new alpha (hypergamy). The male lions fight and most die trying to become the alpha.
The difference with humans is we invented an idea to keep all men alive and happy by enforcing monogamy. Having all men alive is great because men build things. The women behave exactly the same as lionesses, though.
[–]bluescape7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I remember being a kid and watching nature documentaries where male lions would compete for harems. Sometime later in my life, that dynamic was used to explain the concept of (human) males wanting to spread their seed around. That made sense to me, and I thought that, "Sure, that would be a factor in why a guy would be prone to not be faithful." Of course that was the only side presented, right? Guys are dogs, looking to get their dicks wet. What clicked for me later on was that it's not like the lionesses were "faithful" either. They didn't try and stick around with some older male because of any loyalty. As soon as some lion was able to become the new alpha, they were perfectly fine with the new arrangement, even when it mean he was going to kill all the male cubs. So while humans aren't lions, there are certainly some pitfalls that people tend to fall into because they think we're somehow removed from instinct.

The same behaviour can be observed in much closer relatives. The social structure of gorillas is remarkably similar to humans:
[–]Sir_manalot1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You forgot to mention that male gorillas have to keep fighting to keep alpha status and it usually doesn't last long.
Unlike guerillas, any man can kill or beat down another man with enough prep time (guns make it so a man in a wheelchair can easily kill an Olympic arhlete if he wants too
So alphas tend to give up the harem aspect incredibly quick as soon as beta men realize how it really works.
[–]ColdStoryBro0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Spot on. A species will reach a point in its intellectual development that males begin to form complex bonds with other males. This aids in the hunting process and ensures better survival. People do not compete to become individual alpha lone wolves because they would get shredded up be even the most loosely organized mob. Homo sapiens weren't physically nor mentally more capable than Homo Neanderthalensis but were better at forming small groups for dynamic tasks.
If the 80% beta males are determined as a group, they could just kill off all the 10% chads.
[–]RevolutionaryPea70 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Betas are completely submissive to the alphas. Their mating strategy is to be friends with the alpha such that they might get to fuck if the alpha is tired or dies. Thus they will fight to protect the alpha. This can be easily observed in human males. They don't want to kill the alphas, nor do the want to be alphas themselves.
[–]micestorff-4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
80/20 rules applies to "nature" too, only alpha fucks, beta gets to protect the pups of the alpha.
[–]Sir_manalot0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Kind of.
Alphas do not remain alive or on top long and betas constantly fight to try to be the alpha.
Which is why alpha humans spread out there women very liberally. Because they understand that they are only an alpha because betas do not want to kill him.

Culture not Nature. Nature is what makes everyone depressed for living like this.

There’s no such thing as a more “evolved” species. Each species is evolved to its specific environment. Lions are just as “evolved” as humans.

This is pretty funny even tho he is blatantly disregarding the violence of dominance hierarquies.

“Indian Chief “Two Eagles was asked by a white U.S. government official, “You have observed the white man for 90 years. You’ve seen his wars and his technological advances. You’ve seen his progress, and the damage he’s done.”
The Chief nodded in agreement. The official continued, “Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?” The Chief stared at the government official then replied, “When white man find land, Indians running it, not taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women do all the work, medicine man free, Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing all night having sex.”
Then the Chief leaned back and smiled, “Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.”
