Perfect opportunity to cheat. Obviously “work Chad” went back to the apartment, as well. And “work Lauren” knew, and covered for her.

People need to understand that the corporate work environment is basically like college. All these girls joke about their “work husband,” and such.

They’re attracted to powerful male bosses, and if her coworker looks like a Chad, she will definitely be all over him.

The husbands have absolutely no clue what’s going on, of course, because they aren’t there.

I once had a boss that deliberately would isolate the hot girls away from their husbands for “work trips” to Miami and Los Angeles.

We would have one 3 hour seminar, and then 3 days to do whatever. It was a vacation, disguised and written off as “work.”

About the only work he got done was plowing one of the female associates that he was having an affair with.

So the “no plus one” thing looks VERY suspicious. Any company that runs normally, and in a classy way, will invite your plus one.
