So I met this girl online two years back. She lives about an 8 hour drive away from me. We talked on the phone and videochatted once a day usually, and we had a lot in common. I found her very funny, she was also very flirty and attractive. About 9 months in, we finally decided to meet up. We were both busy with school and work so it seemed like a long time coming. I thought about her a lot and thought she could be "the one." Well, in typical female fashion, I got a text saying that she met someone two days before we were supposed to meet up, and that she never wanted to speak to me again. This was about 270 days after we had talked EVERY DAY.

Yeah I simped hard for someone I never met and it's pathetic, say what you will. But she seemed different. Of course, about a year later I know that AWALT and I'm not stupid. And here we are, a year later, and today I got a LinkedIn request from her. I blocked her number right after I got that text, as well as deleted my Facebook. What the fuck is wrong with women? They tell you they never want to talk to you again after seemingly loving you, and then a whole year later reach out again?
