I'm hoping things get better with aging, but I think for a lot of men who were physically neglected when they were children, the need is unbreakable outside maybe intense therapy or drowning themselves in an outlet, like work, alcohol, working out, etc. Romantic/sexual touch feels so good that it might as well be heroin, because living without it requires enormous physical and mental strength most days, and it's nearly impossible to not think about previous experiences many times in a day.

Women were given that power over me and pretty much destroyed my life with it (by holding hostage physical intimacy and giving it out in small doses, only in exchange for their bullshit romance-novel agenda and gynocentric ideas of love and control). I fought back as I got older, by frequenting prostitutes, and they helped me to never give in to the female agenda (prostitutes, rather than let them deny me basic human needs for physical affection unless I cooperated with their typical job/babies/marriage bullshit life plan).

Physical intimacy is a basic human need and I'll never forgive or forget how they used it against me like a donkey being let by a carrot on a stick.

It is heroin. Well, dopamine & oxytocin. You can't intellectually talk yourself out of it. It's just like everything else that's so good but so bad for you - gotta learn to push the need for it down in your mind and forget about, or act on it but never forget your new perspective on life that swallowing the red pill has given you. Contrary to popular belief MGTOW =/= celibacy. Enjoy women, but mitigate your risk and do not commit.

It's the only thing for me personally, (physical touch, not even sex - a wank fixes that problem) that can't be satisfied by anyone or anything but a woman. The need has not faded with age, and may even increase as testosterone drops over time. I can keep it down in my mind because of the price I paid in time and money for it (both touch and sex) over the years but it never goes away, like 'recovered' alcoholics are never former alcoholics, just alcoholics that are not drinking.

There is a good deal of intimacy that can be purchased for less than $100.

Other than that, I don't really feel much need for that. I might hang out with close female friends or go to a music festival. That seems to do it.

The first step is realizing that chasing pussy is not a biological imperative. That is a genetic determinism lie told to us to spend our money and partake in this wholly corrupt banker society.

All the companies selling their chemicals to women who want transformation and all the guys buying weight equipment, protein shakes and body wax to get those women. All the car manufacturers who see a large 6-7 year turnover along the rust belt for guys who can't have a ride with rust on it. Etc, etc.

And behind all of these capitalist-driven ideas is a banker. A banker more than willing to steal your future from you in the form of interest.

The entire friggin system of profit revolves around us, men and women chasing that ideal form. Without that media indoctrination the whole thing falls apart. I feel for the better.

My biggest problem was human touch - sex is easy enough to get from other sources or toys. Human touch however is something quite difficult to get - there are other outlets. You can pay for people to cuddle with or just express that to someone you trust and perhaps work out an agreement, realize that any type of agreement you make with a woman will eventually come to an end so it may not be worth making it at all, and there other avenues like massages and other things that hug your skin like clothes and working out (for endorphin's) that balance out that need for touch.

I think you are overgeneralizing here. IMHO, some of these touch/feels can happen outside the domain of the romantic/sexual shit. They are more of a closeness/affection feels, and women do NOT hold monopoly on them.

You can always go ahead and get yourself a four-pawed cuddle buddy. They come in all sizes - be it small, medium, or just goddamn ridiculous.

Of course, having some substantial knowledge about canines goes a long way. Some dogs (breed-wise, personality-wise) have great cuddling potential (be it innate or the way they are raised), while some others are more of that stubborn, or individualistic, or neurotic fabric.

Also, if trained properly and raised in optimal environmental conditions, they can be very low maintenance. Still, a clueless idiot who buys the first dog they see (because they deem the dog cute) may find themselves experiencing some living hell (with the dog suffering/acting out due to some very sub-optimal living conditions, too).

Why don't you go out and date? Going your own way may involve physical intimacy. If so, pursue it and don't act like you don't want it. That will only build anxiety. Depending on where you live, escorts/stripper/massage parlors may not be totally fulfilling. But they could be a stopgap.

One thing I would suggest is to take a different view of sensuality. In the west we believe that the sensual is the sexual. For me a hot shower, a decent meal, the comfort of my bed, these are all very sensual experiences.

I'd also take a leaf out of womens book here - self comfort. How often do you see a woman stroking her own hair, fiddling with her own lips, hands etc? As a man you can't do that stuff yourself in public, but at home I'll often run my hands through my hair and stuff like that. It's just a way of physically self comforting yourself.

It is sometimes hard to deny the need and urge I'll happily grant. But it is controllable. I'm also lucky I guess in that I have a very touchy family. When me and my brother watch the footy for example we will often sit with our arms round each other's shoulders etc. In the US you seem to have this thing where men just don't touch each other, unless in times of extewme emotionality (funerals and such).

As a guy in his late 20s, I know exactly where you're coming from. My fantasy of having an intimate loving relationship still exists, but I understand Briffaults Law and that my fantasy is just that... a fantasy. However, I still want to feel it.

I cannot speak for everyone, but I personally have been enjoying Asian massage parlors. For $100-120, I get a shower, a great massage, and HE if I want. The ladies are sweet and nice to me (they want a good tip), and it satisfies my desire for physical touch. It's not a perfect system, and the ladies are usually post-wall but it works for me.
