Ok. so we're doing yard work at my mom's place. We used my truck to get gravel a few days ago to expand the sidewalk in the back yard. We got a bit out the day we got it, then it's been raining the last few days. Today my mom comes to me saying "the tail gate won't go down. Can you get it down for me?" I said "Why did you close it? We left it open the last few days?" No answer. So I come out and find the tail gate down...too far. She took off the side cable supports and dropped it onto the bumper. She says "See, the plastic is holding it up, it won't come down all the way". I responded with "That's farther than it should go. It's not meant to do that and you probably scratched my tail gate." Oh boy was I in for a surprise. After she dropped the tail gate like this she climbed into the truck bed over the tail gate. She dented the whole thing, and scratched the hell out of it. No apologies. No "I'll get it fixed", nothing. It was apparently my fault for not helping her when I didn't even know she was doing it.

Thankfully it's an older truck and a bit beat up body-wise anyways so it's not the end of the world, but holy shit does this attitude piss me the fuck off.
